The staff is very helpful. The room was comfortable with all necessities for a good rest. The breakfast was delicious, full of big variety. Also the 'Happy Hour' snack time was actually a proper dinner time 😄 Will definitely be back!

Clean, nice rooms, helpful staff.

During the winter, the heat is not controllable. The rooms are way too hot and even the fan they brought me didn’t work to cool me down.

The breakfast had a range of food- both Western and Chinese. The room size was amazing- really nice bathtub. Bed was huge and very comfy Comfy sofa/chair in the room. Powerful shower. Pool was lovely.

Although we had the air con on the room was very warm. We had club access this was a bit disappointing - nice wine but that was the only alcoholic selection. Food was basic. I have seen better club access facilities.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Sherry was kind and her English was so good! Amenities were nice and bed was comfy. tub and view were great too!

The hot tub wasn't working and the pool was a bit cold and even closed early one night.

I booked here because Sofitel Hangzhou West Lake had been a great trip. Beijing Center Sofitel felt like a fancy three star hotel. The "Jacuzzi" is a bathtub, the TV was Chinese language only, the non-stop traffic filters through the windows all night and the breakfast buffet basement is freezing cold. Had I known this, I would have booked down the street at a hotel closer to restaurants and shops and not abutting a major road. A Jacuzzi is equipped with massage jets - this was merely a big bathtub. The TV channels no longer included any non-Chinese language stations, just CCTV. The movie channels, National Geographic, foreign news stations were all removed. A maintenance guy said something about admin cancelling the stations. The bed was incredibly soft for those accustomed to a typical Chinese mattress, and the windows didn't prevent the all night traffic noise from entering. Great breakfast but bring a heavy coat, the basement is freezing.

The location was perfect and staff were very friendly and helpful although it was extremely hard to communicate in English.

The details that would make the stay better, there was no room service menu in the room. We had to call and ask for menus multiple times. The air conditioner was not working and so the room was continuously hot even after asking staff to help. There was no hair conditioner in the room and there was a lack of bottled water. Had to keep going to the gym for water as the reception phone wouldn’t ring through.

The room was amazing. We were upgraded to a suite because it was our anniversary and it was superb. the bed was the comfiest/softest bed I’ve ever slept in. struggled to leave it during the two nights we were there.

it was a bit further away from the city centre so we had to get a DiDi to different places. other than that, it was perfect.

The facilities were great and the club access benefits were great.

Some of the staff didn't go out of their way to help.
