Great location! Walking distance from attractions, shops and restaurants.

Seemed like a hostel for long stayers rather than travellers. Poor laundry facilities, majority of machines were out of order.

Small kitchen and annoying roommates(not the hotel fault)

Room spacious and well equipped but a bit worn out

This place would need some update and maintenance (worn out with damaged table in the room, door to staircase closes very noisy or not at all so you can hear the noise and talks in the downstairs lobby all night) there was a big, loud and long pool party below our window one night, with glass bottles being smashed into the bin standing right underneath, it ended only by ca. 12 outside, loud talks etc continued in the lobby common area till about 2.30 am

It’s been a month! Billabong was the first station to begin my backpacker journey in Australia. I arrived at the resort with bags and luggages all over my hands at night, after checking in hastily, I started to reorganise my stuff in the room, but just couldn’t find my 50 bucks. When I thought that I had lost them forever, Victor asked did you miss anything when I went to the counter - and I had my missing 50 bucks back! Cheers for that mate. Respect to your integrity🫡

Spacious and well equipped social areas and kitchen

Rooms were not maintained, top bunk didn’t have a safety rail, the toilet didn’t work and the shower was faulty Staff failed to address these problems after several times mentioning

Very good atmosphere in the hostel. The kitchen is cleaned every night. The pool is also clean. The rooms are fine. The staff is friendly. Special mention to Luis who does a great job and deserves a raise.
