Super friendly and warm family, they have a small grocery store where you can buy your conveniences. Nice pool, flexible with check out after a chat.

The owners were very kind.

The place was a working in progress. There was only a light wood gate protecting the compound, the room was nice but not in a very good state of repair with pieces of wood constantly falling from the roof. The bathroom was a disaster, the sink was just a hand-washing sink (very small), the shower head would if the faucet was fully opened. On top of that, the last evening the sink hose burst and I was given a jar to brush my teeth and shave in the morning. JUST AFTER PUBLISHING THIS RATING, THE OWNER REPORTED THAT I HAD BROKEN THE SINK HOSE AND ASKED ME TO PAY FOR IT. Obviously this is a lie, because I left the hostel on Jan 15 and no damage was reported until now, January 20 2022, after receiving a bad review. However, I have attached the picture of the broken sink hose, you can see that it is under the sink (out of my reach) and that it is old and rusted. It should have been replaced long ago. INSTEAD OF LYING, THE OWNER SHOULD APOLOGIZE AND WORK TO FIX THE PROBLEMS OF HIS HOSTEL.

Darwin and his family have a golden heart. They do everything to make you feel comfortable. They love to talk to you, give your tips about the surrounding and are super friendly. The mother even did my laundry (without asking a price). The room was great and clean and they offer a cleaning service. The hostel is 10 minutes walking from Canoa so it’s very peaceful. The wifi was perfect!

Darwin and his Parents are very nice and accomodating people. They are quite new to the area and built everything you see before your eyes in less than a year. They premises has hot water, electricity, wifi with an extender to reach the other rooms on the property. They have cable television and a flatscreen tv with netflix and they will clean the room daily. They have Cameras on the property for your safety and they are always making improvements to the property. They also shared many meals with me of your typical Ecuadorian food. Thank you so much and I have some Ecuadorian friends for life.

I liked everything about it. The family who runs the business is amazing! Very friendly and caring. Great location, a few blocks from the city. Great view to the mountains. All very clean and organized. Best cost benefit in town.
