Very nice location which does not feel like nearby the airport. Owners very helpful and accommodating, prepared unrequested lunch for our daughter, brought ice cream in the evening. Breakfast was arranged early in the morning when in standard hotel you would not get any (4:30 am). Also they performed our transfer to airport. Peaceful place to rest before the flight.
We liked all, no bad things. For development they could arrange dinner.

Die Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr nett und hat uns mit einem Begrüßungstee empfangen und darauf bestanden, unsere Koffer zum Zimmer zu tragen.
Die Unterkunft ist nahe am Flughafen gelegen und wir haben unsere letzte Nacht dort verbracht. Die Lage direkt am Fluss und mitten im Grünen ist jedoch so schön, dass wir dort auch gerne noch eine zweite Nacht verbracht hätten. Die einzelnen Zimmer/Bungalows sind in einem toll angelegten Garten und man hat vor den Zimmer jeweils eigene Sitzgelegenheiten/Liegen und etwas Privatsphäre.
Das Badezimmer hat ein großes offenes Fenster zum Garten hin (sehr schön!). Die Zimmer sind schlicht und schön modern gestaltet. Das Frühstück und Abendessen (letzteres für 7 $ dazubuchbar) waren lecker und vielseitig.
Die Preise sind für Sri Lanka recht hoch, sodass wir vorab sehr skeptisch waren. Lage, Blick und der wunderschöne Garten sind den Preis jedoch aus unserer Sicht wert.
Trotz Lage am Fluss leider kein Mückennetz, sodass wir uns in unserer letzten Nacht noch recht viele Stiche eingefangen haben.

Our family had a great stay at Randoni Villa, its such a peaceful oasis 15 min from the airport. Accomodation was clean and comfortable and the food was delicious. Best of all were the hosts who were super friendly and accommodating.
Hope we can stay there again.

This was such a cute, family run villa. They made us feel very welcomed and we loved staying here. Would definitely recommend to any of our friends going to Sri Lanka.

located in a tranquil setting near the airport. we only stayed a night so that was great. the owner is very helpful and did his best to share as much information as possible.
it’s not near the city centre which is why we picked it but others may find it inconvenient.

Amazing appartement near the airport. Comfortable room with pool and nice river view. The familiy was very friendly and prepared delicious breskfast and dinner.

nice pool and view by the river. it is family owned and the daughter speaks great english. the whole staff were amazing. because of our early flight the next day they made us breakfast at 8pm at night. there isn’t much to eat around so that was nice of them

The family running the guesthouse was as nice and hospitable as can be. The food was delicious. The place is comfortable and conveniently located 15 minutes from the airport.

Everything was great: clean, spacious, comfortable rooms (loved the half open shower with sky view ), the pool, small bar/restaurant, the food and the jungle river, the bright colors everywhere and especially the very friendly family (mother and 4 daughters)and surroundings. You're far way from a town so not for people who want to do some first/last minute shopping or sight seeing, but perfect if you want to relax in natural surroundings and enjoy some great Sri Lanka hospitality after or before your flight.
Everything at the accommodation was great. But some tips: 1. avoid sitting outside around sunset, those 30 minutes the mosquitoes can drive you crazy; 2. make sure the tuktuk drops you off at the right entrance to the departure hall of the airport (we had to walk back 1km)

Near the airport but very quiet. The family running it were most helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast and dinner were both excellent and plentiful.

Staffs are warm and positive, food is good! Room is big and no mosquito near you while you have sleep.
Location is hard to find, before heading to this place you need to call the host first.
