We were travelling with our two little doggies. The hotel was in a perfect location, with plenty of space for us and the doggies to exercise. The hotel was spotless, the staff incredibly friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The food in the restaurant was of an incredible standard without being pretentious. Everything, every single thing about this hotel was absolutely up there with the best we've ever stayed in. We will most definitely return.

We stayed for three nights in their Genesis suite. Everything was 10/10. Staff and management alike made sure that everything was perfect. The restaurant was incredible. We will be surely coming back.

Where do I start? It is probably the worst value for money hotel I've ever stayed at. I paid almost 1000 eur for a two-night stay including breakfast which should be considered a lot of money anywhere in Europe, particularly in Montpellier as you can get a really good meal for under 30 euros. However, the pool was closed on the property for winter times even though it was 22 degrees when I arrived. More importantly, the room does not have blackout curtains so the sun would come in early everyday and wake me up. The decor of the room was terrible - the curtains with weird art look very cheap and almost scary. A lot of designer want to be decor was put in the room, but if you take a closer look, they look cheap. The squirrel lights next to my bed were scary looking with hollow eyes. It's great to have art in the hotel - but the art does not at all go with the setting... The hotel has a lot of potential but fell miserably on interior design. I have never been charged to have a noon checkout anywhere before - and here they charge 30eur per hour if you don't check out by 11am, even though I paid almost 1k for the two night stay...

Breakfast was truly exceptional, with a great range of breads and pastries, fruits and granola, cheeses and charcuterie. The setting is idyllic, a lovely quiet spot with horses and chickens roaming at the edges. The building is full of charm, our bed was supremely comfortable, and the staff was gracious and welcoming.

this place is a dream! A beautiful estate with horses and chickens and grounds of beauty. the rooms are beautiful, staff are excellent and the food amazing.

Domine De Biar is an amazing oasis a short drive from Montpellier centre surrounded by old trees and horse filled paddocks. The breakfast is in the beautiful dining room of this old converted building. The food is top drawer. Service leaves nothing to be desired. The room was clean, light and spacious and every detail was attended to.

The fact we had to leave after only 3 nights was the only down side to staying in such a wonderful place. We felt emotional having to leave.
