The location was perfect for our week of learning Italian at Lucca Italian School, which is only a short walk from the apartment. Also a beautiful, atmospheric location with a narrow canal running along the street and the Madonna statue and historic fountain on the nearby corner of Piazza San Francesco. The kitchen is very well equipped with a large fridge freezer and dishwasher. We enjoyed sitting on the little balcony when weather permitted (March 2022). The owner is very kind and friendly and is available at any time should you have a problem or question.

The nearest supermarket is 550 metres away, which is fine with a small amount of groceries but less convenient with heavier shopping. Found it quite difficult to insert and turn the small key at the street entrance door that operates the light on the stairs and corridor.

Great location in a lovely quiet street. Modern flat with all amenities and a high level of comfort. Very clean throughout.

We loved everything about this flat - location, cleanliness and comfort.

Having to pay 100 euros security deposit in cash made me feel uncomfortable, even if we did get it right back the next day.
