Friendly staff and good atmosphere

Friendly, homey atmosphere. Staff was awesome. Room was minimal, but clean and bed was comfortable. Every room has a private bathroom. Nice basic breakfast (cereal, rolls, jam, cheese, ham) available every morning until 11 am. Plenty of options for a vegan breakfast too..

Would have appreciated a box of tissues in the room.

The lodge is well located and is really nice, with sofas in a big living room, tables and barbecue outside, very friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, breakfast included and possibility to join surf classes, yoga classes on spot.

However, the room smelt of mould, even after opening the windows for a few hours, and when removing the pillow case on the day of departure, I found out that the pillow was completely mouldy, which was rather disgusting. It's a pity because all the rest of the stay was really nice and it would have been a great stay without this problem of mould.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. We visited off season so it was quiet and no breakfast provided but there was a kitchen. This place would be very sociable and informative in surfing season. Lovely location in small village although room view average. Good value.

No tv (which was not really a problem) as most people I think come for surfing vibe. Large chill out area and kitchen. A little chilly when we were there. But it was off season. WiFi signal not brilliant in room.

Cozyness, helpfull staff.

There was a mold around bathroom and even in the room and specific smells because of it. I doubt it's safe to sleep and breath with it. There is no ventilation at the rooms and no air circulating. Maybe problem is seasonal (now is October) That is only one disadvantage of the property, would recommend to stay in general.
