We enjoyed our stay in Dwaraka overall. The ambience was fantastic; from the style of the Villa, private pool, amenities, decorations and watching the rice field from our room. We also would like to praise the attentiveness of staff, all of them were professional, caring, helpful and accommodating, there was nothing else they could have done to make our stay better. The fantastic breakfast was also a big bonus. We also enjoyed the frequent shuttle service to Ubud.

Our sink was leaking and it did not get fixed in time. there was also a flickering light that was distracting. (In general there were also a lot of insects and lizards which roam the rooms, it is expected as it is a jungle villa but becomes slightly inconvenient when you’re sharing a sink with ants, wiping lizard poo off shirts and needing to flush the toilet bowl of ants before each use). The “free benefit/15 minute massage” concept was not conveyed properly- we did not end up receiving it as I booked for a 30min deluxe foot massage (and the 15 minutes did not count towards it or offered as an addition). The deluxe foot massage was also not anything special. For the price paid I would have expected a bit more but aside from that, I would consider staying here again as this may be a one off/unlucky situation.

Wonderful oasis in Ubud!

The hotel got much better than 5 years ago. They changed breakfast and added really great coffee into each room.

The shampoo and other shower stuff should be more luxury not the cheap apple 🍏 smell. The bed linen smelled not right sometimes.

We absolutely loved this hotel. Our private pool was beautiful and the styling was beautiful. our villa was huge and well equipped. I also loved the location - our room was quiet and peaceful but within easy reach of central Ubud. The breakfast had all of the variety of a buffet but delivered a la carte - absolutely wonderful. The staff were super helpful and friendly.

Quite a lot of steps if you struggle with them but no more than most places in Ubud.

Superb location, Balinese feel of the room but still all comfort, entire property is just very relaxing by layout and decoration. Staff is very helpful and friendly, makes you feel welcomed.

Electrical circuits for the lights could be better maintained l. It would greatly improve the presentation if all the existing lights would actually work in those hidden places.

I loved the pools; they were refreshing and beautiful. The breakfast was huge and delicious. They had both Balinese and European entrees (all included). I did not go to the fitness room but it was available. Activities for an extra cost were yoga, Balinese dance, traditional painting. Spa was very reasonably priced.

It is not really close to downtown Ubud. But there is a free shuttle to and from there. The TV didn't really work or I couldn't figure it out. I was told to not go on Netflix.

cleanliness was not good. our outdoor bathroom smelt like sewer & everything felt dirty/unhygienic! We asked cleaners to resolve problem but nothing changed. we were in villa 603 & had two roosters living behind us that crowed from 4;00 am & continued all throughout the day! we were very disappointed as the setting was nice.

The team at Dwarka were excellent. We had one slight issue with the room that was addressed immediately and the staff were very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The pools, communal areas, free access to bikes and breakfasts were excellent.

The property and the villas are really beautiful. Not all paddy-view villas have the same level of views, but we were able to move into a 'better' villa after the first night. Location is great - quiet surroundings but close enough to the centre of Ubud with free shuttle service. All the breakfast and dinner options were delicious. Front desk staff is lovely.

The bathrooms could use some upkeep (we had issues with shower & toilet) but front desk was very responsive. The restaurant was understaffed which resulted in slow service. We also found the portions to be a bit small.
