Fantastic views, clean and tidy. Great having a pool too.

Location isn’t great if you’re wanting to get into menaggio itself without a car. Buses are every 2 hours, and taxis are very very hard to get hold of. Couldn’t find the place to put the bins when we were leaving.

It’s far from main city in isolated area and if you don’t have a car it’s difficult to get from property to city because there are hardly any taxis or bus. Also property does not have garbage bins and you have to travel 0.5 km to get rid of the garbage. We couldn’t open the blinds and called George and Bryan but very poor response and finally issue not resolved.

air conditioning didn’t work our entire stay—4 nights. it was bearable but less than ideal

The lack of information about the apartment itself. There appears to be tricks that you have to do otherwise that particular appliance will not work. There is no information booklet in the apartment, you have to ask the staff and only then did they email these instruction videos to you (this should have been done once you checked in) and once received, they are incomplete! As this apartment is quite far out of centre, it would also have been nice if the staff provided maps of walking tracks to get to town as there are no pathways on the roads. We had to learn of these from a local taxi driver.
