takes 4 keys to get in inconvenient to go to town overall the property is aging. lights in the garage & stairwells didn’t work. mold forming in the shower.

The Sant'Andrea Penthouse is a truly unique luxury home. Designed by local landscape artist and renowned modern architect Arturo Montanelli, Residence Sant'Andrea is reflective of nature and literally seems to merge into the mountain. Everything about this fabulous penthouse was first class: the modern design, the perfect layout, the spectacular view from the deck and garden, and the incredible pool. We could leave the touristy centres of Menaggio and Bellagio behind for utmost peace whilst being able to drive to other Como towns easily. Gemma's colleague, Lorenzo, was so gracious and helpful. He showed us around, and explained how everything works, including the electric window shutters which keep the light out for a good night's sleep. WiFi was strong, Netflix easy to access, and the washer and dryer a big plus. I was grateful that olive oil, salt/pepper and spices were provided, and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need to cook for a family. We ate on the deck on several evenings and kept the French doors open for most of the day, bringing the outside in. Each night we slept on the most comfortable beds, and there are two showers and two fantastic bathrooms. We found ourselves staying at the house instead of going out, and we cannot wait to return. Other reviews have mentioned a broken elevator, and I can see how that would be a major issue as we relied on it heavily. Luckily, everything was in working order so we did not need to use the stairs. The apartment is on Level 3 of the complex, entrance to building at Level 0 and pool at Level -1.
