Zat op loopafstand van alles. Zeer gastvrij en rustig verblijf. Schoon, zeer behulpzaam als er wat geregeld moest worden. Echte aanrader!

The hostel is in a quiet location but the historic centre is only a few minutes' walk away. The host Marie is incredibly nice and helpful. We had a very good time in Melaka thanks to her tips. The hostel was totally clean and tidy.

Hôte incroyablement gentille et serviable. Plein de bons conseils pour visiter la ville, le pays et même plus encore !! Faites lui confiance pour les restaurants aussi Hygiène impeccable. Fruits, thé, café à disposition. Salle de bains commune (eau chaude ok) et toilettes très propre. Nous recommandons et reviendrons sans hésiter. Climatisation OK. Emplacement parfait (calme et proche de tout).

Il n'y avait que la petite chambre de dispo (on le savait), on est clairement dans une cellule de prison entre 4 murs = un peu juste pour deux. On apprécierait une petite cuisine équipée et un frigo pour pouvoir cuisiner et manger sur place.

Best place I’ve ever stayed! The host was amazing. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and kind. The place is very clean and cozy, walking distance to all the attractions. I highly recommend it!

Maria is an amazing host! She is super kind, gives you a lot of information about what to do, and the guesthouse is super super clean! The bed was comfortable, the room big, the a/c worked really well and you have access to free water/coffee/tea. The location is perfect! It's in a quiet street at 5 minutes' walking distance of jonker street. You can even wash some clothes and hang them at the balcony. She has every very well organized and it felt like home. Definitely recommend staying here. She is wonderful and her husband is also very kind! I was waiting for my Grab, but first he was stuck in traffic (weekend), and after he got out of the traffic jam, he went north instead of south. I was going to miss my bus and therefore her husband offered me a ride. I still missed the bus, unfortunately, but it was super kind of him, and I really appreciated it!

I liked everything! But in case you're looking for a place to meet other travelers, then this isn't the best option. At my first night, there was a couple staying, but the second night, it was only me. I loved it, though.
