Authentic building, little bit small but comfortable. Very clean, And when you open the window, the view was amazing.

because it uses wooden floors, it's a bit noisy when people pass by. Sometimes sleep is a bit disturbed especially when there are guests who live upstairs and come home in the middle of the night

The staff

A lot of noise- it’s an old wooden building with creaky floorboards, noisy doors and a very loud fan in the shared bathroom.

Good location to visit Jungfraujoch and nice and cosy village scene at Wilderswil. The lodge has cheerful and helpful staff during the stay.

The room lamp desk did not clean and with soft drink on it. The sound proof of the rooms were not good, I can hear the snoring sleep from the next room and chatting sound from the room at the floor below. A fan in a room will be good since it is very hot in the afternoon time during the summer.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and just could not do enough to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The location was absolutely ideal. A very short walk to the train station and next to a local supermarket. The views are spectacular and the lodge is beautiful with so much character . Thank you so much for making our stay so special. Would recommend this place in a heartbeat … in fact we already have.

The amenities could be updated. One of the shower doors did not close so the floor would get very wet and slippery. Hairdryer in room needs to be updated and a larger fan would be useful especially when it is hot. Most B&B,s we have stayed in during our time in Europe have a small fridge and this would be a great addition

The breakfast was exceptional and the gardens were very nice to walk through.

The staff is very nice and willing to help. And the breakfast has variety of choices. Location is near the train station, 5 mins of train to Interaken Ost. Also in the direction to Grindwald. Bed and pillow are perfect for resting.

The room facilities are a bit old. Especially the floor is made of wood. So it will be a bit noisy if the upper floor keeps walking. But still a very good choice to stay!

The staff were great, they let us check in early and were very helpful. The location is very convenient to the bus and train, and felt safe. Morning breakfast was bountiful and delicious.

The walls and towels are very thin.

as with older style accommodation like this stairs can be a challenge with heavy luggage some of the furniture whilst quaint and fitting the genre was needing some TLC Pillows need attention

I really loved the location and how convenient it was to commute. Also the Lodge was very cozy and comfortable. Loved the Jacuzzi and the view from the balcony.

Sharing of the bathroom but it was always clean and warm water was always coming.

Very friendly staff, great location for exploring the area, love that locals live here and not just tourists visiting. Cows, sheep, chickens nearby and beautiful mountain views. Hotel has lots of character and helpful staff.

Shower wouldn't close fully (we understand it's an old hotel) and room was a bit toasty/warm so we opened the windows. Would have loved to enjoy meals there, but unfortunately the restaurant closed around 23 OCT. There were only a couple places open as it's off-season.

The team here is really awesome, so nice and accommodating. I liked having the choice for a single room with shared bathroom since I was just one traveler. The breakfast was comprehensive. You cannot beat the location and the view. For what I paid, the value is fair.

I felt the condition of my room was a lot more worn than in the photos. The carpet really needed replacement. The odor was musty. The bathrooms could have been kept cleaner (although I realize some of this is left up to individual guests who leave wet towels around, throw refuse on the floor, smear hair on the stall, etc).

- All the noise and squeaky steps that made sleeping at night a challenge. - uncomfortable beds - mediocre breakfast

Location is just outside the wilderswill train station. The breakfast is very good.

if u do stay there try to stay in the.new building cause old wooden one you hear everything from above and from the side

wish our room in the lodge had a mini frig! TV was hard to figure out. couldn’t change language.
