Darling Beach Cottage Off Pierpont - 1/2 Block from Sand
Perfecto para familias !! Esta querida tres dormitorios, un baño de casa con una decoración luminosa es sólo 1/2 cuadra de la arena en la zona de Pierpont. Es sólo un carril lejos del Marina Park, que cuenta con infantil grande 'patio de recreo, barco pirata, y la cuerda de la polea. La casa está a poca distancia de las tiendas y restaurantes. Ventura Harbor, puerta de entrada al Parque Nacional Channel Islands, es de 2. 76 millas de la casa. El histórico muelle de Ventura es de 2. 79 millas al norte a lo largo de la bicicleta en buen estado y senderos para caminar.

This house was such a wonderful little gem.
Some things I would have liked to have known before visiting:
Bring your own pet supplies, there are none.
The front gate does not close. It will blow right back open so your dog is not secure. You will need to take something to wedge it closed to keep your kids and dog in.
There are plenty of beach chairs (probably 10) and toys, a wagon, a couple of beach umbrellas, and even a little cooler bag.
You won’t mind the walk to the beach. It’s very close! But you will mind dragging all the supplies up and down the steps and then carrying that wagon separately.
The beach is not crowded at all. On cooler days, we had it 90% to ourselves!
Dogs are everywhere on the beach in the mornings/evenings. A lot are off leash. They were all very well behaved though.
There is a lot of construction going on around that street. It wasn’t quiet and workers were kinda everywhere the whole time.
The master bedroom bed Needs replaced desperately. I couldn’t even sit on the end of it. The other beds were firm. My son slept on the couch because of it.
Bring your own laundry basket. There are none. And no shampoo/body wash, etc.

This is a small bungalow in the middle of paradise. Most important, they allowed our family dog for our weeklong stay. The only negative is the very small bathroom with an awkward layout. We appreciated an affordable place, close to the ocean and everything we love about Ventura.

Have stayed before and really enjoyed it! Again, great place, has everything you need to have fun close to the beach. Was a little hot this time but utilized the several portable fans to cool off the house as the sun went down and kept on at night. We will back!

It was even closer to the beach than I expected! And the beach is always uncrowded because the access is like neighborhood only so it feels like a private beach. You do have to climb stairs to access the beach so that meant unloading the wagon and carrying gear up the stairs but that wasn’t a problem for us. We loved the property and the neighborhood. The beds are so comfy! (The master bed at least in my personal experience was pillowtop soft). The garage is full of fun stuff and the kitchen had everything we needed. Washer/dryer is a lifesaver and they even provide the detergent which is rare. We would definitely rent again!

Table for dining only accommodates 4, maybe 5 people. Stayed with 3 children and 4 adults. No trash bags or niceties like bath soap, shampoo, coffee, etc. Ran out of (kitchen) soap and toilet paper. Filthy air fryer oven insert. Dishes needed (re)washing before use. Bedrooms not heated when bedroom door is closed. Two of us got sick from our stay. Poorly maintained property with visible rust as well as damaged bay window surfaces. Tiny single-sink bathroom insufficient for 7 guests. Garage door opener did not work.

this place was perfect for me and my dog. big fenced in back yard, and just a few houses to the beach. I love having a dishwasher in vacation rentals, and the kitchen was totally stocked, and there was a ton of beach and bath towels.

Absolutely fantastic experience! We had the most wonderful time at this adorable beach cottage. The proximity to the beach was a dream come true, and the fact that it had everything we needed made our stay even better. Our family felt right at home, and the cozy atmosphere of the cottage added to the charm of the whole trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to create lasting memories. Five stars without a doubt!

Such a cute beach home. Love the original feel. Loads of space for a family with little ones… only 2 of us on this trip and fit us perfectly, , bathroom is on the small side.
All the amenities and extras made it feel like home. Used the washing machine, oven, stove, dishwasher, coffee pot and dryer…., bikes, beach chairs and beach cart was a HUGE bonus! Good communication with owner. Super location on a very quiet street. No road noise from 101, only the sound of the ocean. Amazing relaxing vacation. Spent every day with coffee on the beach and easy walk to Dukes and Seaward.

This house was very clean (and cute) for my family of 4 and dogs. It had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Enclosed front and backyard were great for small kids and dogs. Would absolutely love to stay here again. Clean, safe neighborhood that was only steps away from the beach. No crazy crowds either. Just perfect!

Great location just a short walk to a great beach area. It was so nice to be able to enjoy the beach and still walk back to the house if you need to. Quite neighborhood great yard at the house. We were able to ride bikes to the neighborhood “Main Street” for coffee and food. Easy bike ride to pier and downtown also. The house had everything we needed for nice mid week get a way. Parking was tight but we made it work.

The house was exactly as described. Lots of extra blankets and towels. Fully stocked kitchen. Regular coffee pot (with filters, but bring your own coffee). A short walk to the beach. Lovely backyard with a fire pit (stocked with seasoned wood- just need to bring kindling). And the owner called the first night to make sure we were settled and didn’t need anything.

Darling little house as described. Amazing location 1/2 block to the beach plus a wonderful park. Big back yard and a nice grill for eating outside. Bike route just outside and cute little restaurants down the street. We hope to return again!

We so appreciate our experience at the Nathan Lane "Darling Beach Cottage". It was perfect for our family, as we visited other family for a birthday, spent time at the beach and finally got "away" after a tough year for a nurse and a school leader and their children. Thank you!

Great location for going to the nearby beach and there is a roomy park nearby too. The beach was clean and uncrowded (at least during the week; was not there on a weekend). House and yard are kid friendly. The house is not super fancy, but well-kept and makes a great match for relaxing with family. The windows all open easily and the sea breeze comes through. Yay!

House was great for our family and just a short walk to the ocean. Kitchen seating is tight but with the great weather the backyard table was great to enjoy. For me the king size bed was really too soft, but the bed in the other room was firm enough. Our daughter loved the bunks. Very peaceful neighborhood and lovely ocean breeze. Christina was very responsive and accommodating.

We had a splendid mini vacation at your cottage - more than enough space for the 4 of us and we thoroughly enjoyed the fenced in back and front yards for my 22 month old granddaughter. We were able to cook our meals and walk to the beach with ease. Check in and check out was a breeze and we appreciated that! Also, a lovely perk was the beach wagon in the garage and a million other toys were available too! Well equipped for a fantastic stay!

The rental was perfect for our family! We had 4 adults and 4 kids staying with many family members coming and going! Beach was soo close and backyard was amazing! Definitely plan for parking there is only enough room for one small car in the garage and 1-2 cars in front. We had the best time and will stay again!

This home is virtually right off the beach. It’s a short walk (like 1 minute) on a quiet neighborhood road. The home is cozy, for sure. But, there were 5 of us and a dog and we managed fine. We didn’t spend much time in the house anyway. The yard is a good size and the fire pit was nice for evening s’mores. The beach itself was relatively quiet. I don’t know if we just timed it right or if it’s always that way. But, we never felt crowded. Very dog friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Tucked in on a street with beach access is this cozy cottage. It is very clean, well equipped, everything you need for cooking and entertainment. There are beach chairs, bikes, toys and a large patio/yard with outdoor seating and fire pit. Walking out the front door, you will find yourself on a lovely beach in two minutes. We had a terrific time, thank you Christina!
