Loved the upstairs entertaining /kitchen/dining area. Enclosed balcony with braai was great with fantastic views. Everything you could want in the kitchen (apart from a veg peeler!) enjoyed all the books and magazines . Decorated beautifully. Loads of towels. We each had our own bathroom. Great location close to shops and beach.

Could have done with some electric fans as we were hot in the rooms at night.

It’s the perfect location for a group of friends or a big family to enjoy Pringle Bay. The rooms are really comfortable. Living room, kitchen and the terrace leave no open wishes. And the owner is such a lovely and helpful person. It’s a shame we haven’t met in person. I can highly recommend this house!!!

probably renovated 10 years ago and nothing done since . it is not true to the photos at all .An enormous upfront deposit of R3500 . only allowed in at 3pm and check out 10 am . so very expensive for one day and 2 nights . Had to vacuum all the embedded dog hairs as sneezing all the time . I am still waiting for my deposit to be returned from 20 days ago. spent 3 hours cleaning all the drawers out . Everything is a total muddle and nothing organised . Clearly it’s left to so called cleaners to get it ready. No outside balcony. you cannot see or smell the sea. No fencing and on a corner so unsafe for dogs and children. location is the back side of Pringle so you don’t feel you’re on holiday . horrible to braai as the so called balcony is enclosed . can open shutters but you feel hemmed in. Host extremely unpleasant to deal with. we were at the place and she would not send us code as she was waiting for proof f deposit which we sent . A very unpleasant experience for our group of 8 and we were so looking forward to it. furniture is stained and old and bad musty smell in bedrooms .

This was a great home away from home experience. The host was truly amazing and shared a lot of great insights for us to allow for an effortless stay. It had everything we needed which was amazing. All we needed to do was pack in clothes and food. The home was tastefully decorated and the host was accessible and quickly responded on any questions raised. The beds were comfortable and the space clean. This home was a good for the soul and for a reset away from the crazy world. It allowed our family to enjoy much needed time together. The home lovely, even though we read reviews about there not being an outside space this was not true, the green lawns outside and around the house had the kids playing for hours. The home was a quick walk to the beach and in a great location to do a easy walk to the shops. It was truly a lovely space to be in, 4 days barely seemed long enough. Thank you so much for allowing us into your home.

Enough space and bathrooms..

Firstly , the breakage fees was not clearly stated from the initial stage and I was only informed on the day before we travelled . Secondly, the host was not very helpful when it with access code and maybe I am partially to blame. We felt like criminals and was threatened by the host to sent security and neighbors and possible cancellation . It end up that we only got access after 3 hours of waiting it was terrible experience. I have stayed twice in The Mermaid tail and never had such treatment. However we enjoyed every moment in the house and hope to get my breakage fees back.
