Bacon at breakfast! Ok for an overnight stop.
We found the receptionist on arrival quite curt, verging on rude, he tried to tell me we didn’t have a reservation, even though they’d emailed me that morning with checking in info! When we came back after dinner the front door was locked with no instructions how to get in. We ended up following another guest in. The marketing team did a fantastic job on the photos of the quadruple room as it wasn’t as we expected. The air con system was broken on one of the hottest days as well.

De airco deed het niet en dat werd pas verteld na de betaling. Er werd geen compensatie aangeboden terwijl het 33 graden was die dag. Het hotel was juist op airco geselecteerd door ons. 😡

l'accueil a été déplorable, nous avions contacté l'hôtel pour une nuit supplémentaire en amont de notre séjour, nous n'avons jamais eu la moindre confirmation et même le jour de notre arrivée nous avons eu à faire un quelqu'un qui ne comprenait rien, ne faisait pas d'efforts pour comprendre la situation et qui a rejeté la faute sur nous.

It was perfectly suitable for an overnight stop on our journey to Chamonix - clean, comfortable and the breakfast was good.
We arrived late and were aware that we would have to collect our key codes from a machine in reception. However, we were unable to open the car park gate to get the car in and the instructions on how to do this were on the gate itself - all in French. It wasn’t a problem for me as I speak the language fluently, but it could be difficult for other travellers.

The pot holes on the road leading to the hotel.
The registration computer not working in the entrance and nobody answering my multiple calls on the supposedly 24/7 interphone.
The heating system not working (a couple of electrical portable radiators were provided instead).

The room smelled of cigarettes. Ventilation is built in such a way that whenever someone in the nearby rooms smokes the smell goes to the rest of the rooms.
The floor near bed was dirty.
The bathroom was full of someone else’s shaved hair.
The pipes of the sink are apparently blocked. The water doesn’t go through and when it reaches the level of toweldryer (right under the sink) the water starts to flow onto the floor due to the fact that connections are rusty.

Good value for short overnight stay. Staff was friendly, room of decent size was very clean. Practical self check in for late night arrivals.

Overall the room was OK for the price. The B&B lies next to a bigger street but it is not too loud. The parking was free of charge. The personell was friendly.
The room was not cleaned in the three days we stayed there, towels were not changed (but I got fresh towels after asking at the reception).

The breakfast box fell short of expectations: some of the items we ordered were not supplied and replacement items were not provided for all of those; the coffee was not warm enough.
