Room was spacious and clean. Reasonably comfy bed. Great location for exploring St Davids. Very nice breakfast.

Very narrow stairs up to second floor. We are not very mobile and it was a challenge with a case. Quite a lot of noise from smoking area of the pub quite late into the night (it was a Friday night). Communal areas could do with a bit of an uplift.

Very helpful staff who accommodated our requests. Excellent breakfast. Good location and some of the rooms have an outstanding view over the bay.

The rooms are getting a little "tired" and could do with a refresh.

A group of nine of us stayed in seven rooms for four nights B&B in June 2024. All of us thought the hotel was excellent, the rooms were very clean and tidy and all thought the beds were very comfortable. Staff were excellent, particularly Aaron who greeted us each morning, and took nine different breakfast orders, he was professional, friendly and very good at his job, he is an asset to the hotel. All our party thought the breakfasts were very good. Good portion sizes, quality and excellently cooked and served. We have no hesitation in recommending The City Inn. Keep up the good work and thank you all. Looking forward to our next visit to The City Inn.

Location

Water leak, therefore no hot water, which could happen to any company. However, very matter of fact about the whole thing. There was no attempt to ease the experience e.g., complementary drink.
