Wonderful and hospitable host Anil who made sure our stay was comfortable and drove us to lots of sights in his Tuktuk; delicious breakfast and dinner; beautiful lodge with great balcony view; excellent sights nearby, e.g. Sigiriya rock; host offered laundrg service

Wifi was a little slow

This was the best breakfast ever in a Sri Lankan hotel. In general, the hosts are super customer-oriented, ready to help and suggest in all matters. The rooms are very stylish and in good repair, the owner also continues to make cosmetic repairs to the entire building.

The most important thing that can be fixed fairly quickly and is very important to do is the general cleaning of the rooms. The floor and bed are clean, but all other interior items are dusty - switches, shelves, floor lamps, dirt everywhere. The second is the frogs from the toilet on the first floor - not the most terrible, but rather unpleasant phenomenon. Perhaps you can fix it with some kind of grids, maybe not, I don’t presume to say, but you need to be ready. Well, and the third thing, that specifically in one of the rooms on the first floor, no connection was caught. Although on the territory of the hotel outside the room everything was fine.

Our stay at isanka was wonderful. The family is very warm and welcoming. The host helped us organizing entire stay at Sigirija. The room itself was very clean with a nice balcony and forest view. The food prepered by the family was one of the best in Sri Lanka. Just a perfect stay!

Not much to complain about

A lovely stay! Very friendly host, He could not do enough for us, he cooked a big breakfast the following morning and was truely happy so have us there. Bedroom big, bed comfy and wifi good. Would highly recommend this homestay 😃
