we stayed in a lovely cabin in the tree. it was perfect for a 2 night stay as we arrived late the first night and did an all day safari in Yala the second day. definitely recommend trying it out.

The resort is located directly next to Wirawila Lake. If you like birds there's so much to see! From hunting Kingfishers to al kinds of storks. All this is the view from your poolside bed. The safari service to Yala was well arranged. Rooms were clean and big with a balcony all around. Powercut was no problem due to the generator.

Not every staff member is well spoken in English

A really nice place to stay at before your Safari at Yala National Park. Even though the cook was on leave the day we arrived, the staff managed to provide us with a satisfying diner.

Kelum was very friendly and helpful! Our lake view room had a little pond underneath with fish and turtles. Dinner at the restaurant was super tasty and very filling. Private location away from noise and people. We had a special table under the tree with lake view on our departure. Really wish we stayed for a few more nights.

You might notice a bit of dust in the room and around but that could have been avoided by a proper cleaning and mopping routine

only thing is that there is not much to go nearby the accommodation, but for us that wasn’t a problem because out visit to Yale.

It was the first place we stayed upon arriving in Sri Lanka. We booked the transfer from the airport and all went smoothly (nice drive, nice views). All the staff was really friendly and done everything to make you feel comfortable. We stayed in the tree house and it was like going back to childhood dreams (it even had air con, which from other places we stayed after, made us realize how well the rooms have been built and thought). The pool is also great to dive in and refresh yourself. Thank you Sunimal and Chanaka and everyone that made our stay so special. The experience was amazing and we really want to come back.

Despite the quite long walking distance from the nearest village/town, they borrowed us their scooter. Thank you so much!

Amazing views of the lake, beautiful, peaceful gardens with an abundance of wildlife. The tree houses were very quirky but access is a bit tricky. We took a full day safari, (booked through the hotel) which was a very long day. I would advise a half day. The safari guides were brilliant though and really looked after us. We used the hotel for our transport, great, helpful drivers. The food was lovely, I wanted to take the chef home with me! Most of the staff were lovely & helpful.

We booked the villa to do Yala national park safari from there which worked out fine. For any other purposes it might be bit far for walking distance but is no problem with some sort of vehicle. Overall everyone was helpful and the surrounding envoirnment and our treehouse stay were nice.

For our discomfort we discovered cockroaches in our room which ruined our stay a bit.

This hotel was an amazing experience. Our hut had a very comfortable bed, was clean and had an a deck with the look on the lagoon and lots of animals (monkeys, turtles, birds). We could relax there before our Safari. We booked our Safari and next transfer through our hotel. The Safari was the best. We saw all the animals, had a very good driver that had us at the animals within the first three cars. For the transfer we got a cheaper offer than with a private driver and he even stopped on the way for us to see a waterfall. The staff took care of everything. The food is very good and you get to sit outside in the shade enjoying your breakfast.

It is located in front of the very natural and beautiful Weerawila Lake. The service provided by the manager and his staff was excellent as we had a very relaxed and pleasant day at this place They arranged dinner at our immediate request near the beautiful pool by the lake and it was a very happy night for us. Many thanks to the manager and staff.

Super friendly owners. Always ready to make your stay trouble-free and took the extra step to make our stay just perfect. Highly recommended!

Everything looked as on the photos. The room and bathroom were really spacious and comfortable. The garden is beatiful. You can observe birds from your balcony or relax by the pool. They provide packed breakfast if you go for the morning safari. We decided on Yala safari organized by them and it was also very good.

People are wonderful. The food is amazing. Everything is very comfortable.

Good location and nice tree houses. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Especially Sunnimal who is the manager, was so welcoming. He made packed breakfast for us when we left for safari early morning. Sri Lankan rice and curry was excellent but not any other dishes.

The rooms could be a more cleaner and family friendly.
