酒店服务员很热情，办理入住很快，前台何家乐服务很好，看到有带小朋友还送了游戏币和饼干，小朋友很喜欢，WIFI给力，房间安排不错，卫生干净，泳池很大，

酒店的服务真的很好，尤其是一个叫符少见的，名字真的很好记，英语名字也很好记，好像叫See。很耐心的跟我们附近的景区，怎么打车过去，在哪里拍照好看，去哪个夜市买裙子，几点去比较适合，还温馨的提示告诉我们出门一点要做好防晒。大堂真的很热，看他们汗流浃背的，真的挺不容易的。而且他们还一直站着办入住，真的很辛苦，建议可以安排都是坐着办入住的。

酒店的前台服务不错，客房打扫卫生的保洁打扫得也特别仔细，对于有洁癖的人来说，也挑不出毛病。另外酒店的地理位置很优越，海景房特别满意！！

Price was too expensive and items are limited.

The receptionist asked me to pay Renmingbi only despite the fact I gave booking.com my credit card. After I had to pay the Renminbi in cash, I did not have enough money to go sightseeing because the hotels did not exchange dollars for renminbi. The air conditioning was too damp, and it made me sick. The gym was full of construction stuff, not available at all. The swimming pool was full of people with floatation, so we could not swim laps. The location was not able to walk anywhere.

Location, facilities and breakfast

Room seemed quite worn out - doormats, sofas and mirrors seemed very old. Complimentary items were provided only for two people although we booked the room for three adults.

Breakfast was ok, nothing that surprised me compared to other places that I have visited. I liked the staff members in the front desk were friendly and welcoming and helpful.

The lobby area was not cool enough and they had this giant fan quite noisy but it was not really helping that much other than to ventilate the front desk. The rest chairs in the swimming pool area were not well mantain. The toilet in our room suddenly started to make a noise above the roof as if there was a leak coming from the room above us. We stayed in the room 632.

The pool was nice, great access to a lovely beach. Miles of beautiful beaches but not much else in the area.

The description when we booked our room stated that we’d have direct access to the pool. However, we were given a room on the 10th floor. We asked to change and the hotel moved us but it took hours of negotiation and several trips to the reception desk, as well as a long time on the phone to booking.com. We also paid extra to use the executive lounge which was a waste of money - the lounge was very dingy with no windows and the food was really terrible. Our new room was nice and great to have pool access but our bath had no plug and it took two days and us asking several people many times for them to bring us a plug. The rooms are quite big but dated and need some maintenance. Breakfast was ok and quite varied but there was no AC in any public areas of the hotel - lifts, lobby and breakfast room, so it was uncomfortably hot all the time. We booked a massage but only one member of staff was there so she started massaging my partner and told me to wait a minute for another masseuse. Ten minutes in and I was still lying there waiting. I asked again and she said wait a moment. After half an hour of waiting I gave up, got dressed and left, feeling pretty annoyed. It also ruined the experience for my boyfriend. There is an animal corner by the pool which was pretty awful - lots of very sad looking rabbits and Guinea pigs in cages without food or water. We took them some water on the second day and were pleased to see they had been given food and water but many of them looked ill and one was badly injured with a big open wound on its neck. One night we paid for the BBQ dinner and selected the food we wanted to eat and took it to the BBQ. An hour later they came to tell us that they had misplaced our order, so just started bringing over lots of food that we hadn’t ordered, a lot of which went to waste. The selection of food was good but yet again the poor service let them down. For an international hotel brand, we were very disappointed and would not stay with them again.

Beautiful rooms Friendly staff

Our stay was very enjoyable as we booked a room which included the club room and enjoyed afternoon tea, drinks and a few mels within. The pool is large and you can find a quiet swimming spot within, however the water was a little warm due to heatwave. Great breakfast both chinese and western choice. Staff very helpful and welcoming. The sea views are amazing.

Shuttle bus couldn't find us..probably language problem though. Room service took 4 phone calls and trip to desk to get ice.

The breakfast was great, the hotel and staff were nice. We enjoyed the spacious rooms, view from the room, and proximity to the beach. We enjoyed being further away from the more crowded and noisy beach areas.

The pool water was too cold to swim in for most guests. There was a sign that said what the water temperature should be, but it was never heated to that temperature. Also, is there any way to provide beach chairs and umbrellas for guests? Without beach chairs it was difficult to enjoy the beach for longer periods of time. The free to use sand toys and afternoon kids activities was a nice touch.

Breakfast had lots of options. They were mainly typical breakfast foods in China so it was a bit limited for our tastes, but we were able to find plenty everyday.

The Club Lounge is very small with no view and limited hours.

Close to the airport. A great neighborhood for jogging, bike riding, walking and outdoor excercise.

It would be great if there was some activities or show for young adults.

We like that it is in a quiet location. If someone is looking for nightlife, this is not the place for you. We like that it feels like a palace and the staff is very friendly. It is peaceful and quiet.

We paid for club lounge access and the club is not well done. The food is basically white bread sandwiches that are only available in the afternoon. There should be more variety and more hot dishes. The club itself isn't well attended by the staff however when we did get ahold of someone they were more than happy to get us the drinks that we liked.

Our room was spacious and cold. Good air conditioner.

Difficult language barrier. Outdated rooms. No pool service for food or drinks. No umbrellas or shaded area by the pool. Pool entry was very crowded. The dining hall was dark and dingy. The food was awful and overpriced. The club room access was sad. It had no windows, no ambiance, and very averaged fruit and sandwiches. No spirits as expected from an IHG resort. The food choices were limited for children and the kids club was less than adequate. It lacked any vibe from a 5 star resort especially the lack luster pool, which was the main appeal. There were many children with inflatables, hard kayaks, and many parents upon entry to the pool. Making this only available, an unpleasant experience. It is apparent that there is lack of management of the staff including 5 star hotel relations and expectations.

Beds were super comfortable, staff were helpful and pool was nice (needed to be cleaned a little more often).

Restaurant choices not great, rather difficult to get something for lunch and breakfast finishes very prompty at 10:30. There is a fruit shop but far away from other places.

We got exactly the room we booked - a superior sea view suite - that had a great view and was very spacious and comfortable. Cleaning twice a day was courteous, efficient and unobtrusive. The bathtub on one of the balconies was great - lovely to lay there with a glass of wine watching the sea!

We booked a 'with club floor benefits' package. However, very few staff understood English and it was only due to Bonnie, that we eventually found the 'VIP Lounge. The hotel's location is at the far end of Sanya Bay; the beach there is OK but not many places outside to go and eat.

Peter the guest Manager is fabulous. He takes care of all the expats, he is a wonderful man.

The location is a about 30 mins from bars and restaurants The service at the lobby bar is very slow. They need more staff.

Arrival - impressive entrance, helpful and efficient staff, spoke English, we upgraded to ‘club’ room so we could have sea view - a welcome drink would be nice , room was available early. Room 2 - much lighter and airy room, smelled much better, welcome fruit is a nice touch, balcony bath is amazing, runs out of hot water pretty quick but it’s so big so that’s ok, we just waiting 10 mins each time before continuing filling. View was decent enough. Room is very old fashioned. Has a massage device for feet but costs extra. Lobby bar and breakfast - delicious bbq buffet for good value, but it’s the same every night, women singing spoiled it a little as she wasn’t very in tune and waaaay too loud. There is a range of other food on the menu which was fairly good quality but during the day service was slow. Staff were nice enough, just a bit slow. Breakfast was very comprehensive , lots to choose from and yummy, one morning the egg station guy wasn’t refused me requesting a sunny side egg despite it being a “egg station” and it being on the menu, and me having it the day before no problem. He must’ve had second thoughts because he came and found me minutes later and said ok. It was around Christmas so it was decorated beautifully and the staff sang carols and danced which was a sweet touch.

Room 1 - after being excited we were very underwhelmed and disappointed when we entered the room, though it was clean it smelled so bad of smoke and staleness, it was dark and when we looked out the the balcony we could only see a tiny bit of sea, some construction and busy road nearby. We went down to reception to ask to change, they were very accomodating. Club room upgrade - says minibar included but that only included 1 beer, I sprite, I Pepsi, and 1 cookie or some sort, this is poor - especially when there are two of us and it wasn’t always fully restocked daily. Hotel facilities - outdated and not well maintained, the pool needed a good clean and the tiles repaired. I would also suggest updated the towels as they had so many stains (so did the loungers) and ripped. Pool inflatables also cost extra money which is a shame. It would be good to have some refreshments or a bar available pool side. Beach - location is beach front across a busy road, beach not the nicest but it would be good, again, to have some service there for refreshments and possibly even a sun lounger area. Area- like I said not the best beach for relaxing or swimming, not many restaurants or amenities around at all. Everything is around 15 mins taxi ride away. Club room upgrade - not worth it, after noon tea was poor and room not that different, felt like I was being ripped off. Overall for crowne plaza and the price, this hotel is not up to standard and disappointing. I was really gutted that it did not live up to my expectations. It did the job and it was okay but I will not be staying here ever again.
