Our group really enjoyed this property. Walking disrance to several great bars, restaurants, and markets as well as the French Quarter. The home itself was clean and comfortable, with lots of NOLA charm. Hosts were helpful and responsive to questions. They alsi provided a lot of great information about things to do in the local area.

Group of 5 ladies loved this house. The neighborhood is friendly and holds a lot of hidden gems. The house was beautiful and colorful. I suggest taking advantage of the back porch. I would suggest asking about check out process early because we got the information day of check out.

The Brennah Rose Place was a great getaway spot in NOLA! Tons of great neighborhood dining spots and a short bike or car ride to all the bustle and music of Frenchman and the Quarter with all of the benefits of living like a local. Cathy and Tonybwere great hosts, we’re looking forward to our next stay!

Property was great with communication from the moment I booked until check out. House was just as pictured, and was a lovely stay. My one singular annoyance was that upon arrival, we had to remove the bedspreads and pillow shams and replace them with blankets from the closet, because the bedspreads were purely decorative and not for functional use. That was the last thing I wanted to do after driving 8 hours and hauling luggage inside and up the stairs. Frankly, it’s a bit ridiculous. That topic aside, the stay was wonderful and we didn’t have any issues. Despite my likely exaggerated irritation with the blankets, I’d definitely recommend this location.

Beautiful home located in a safe area

What a unique property. It was very NOLA ish. Love all the decor. The owners were amazing. We added a day to the front end at the very last minute without any complications. Both arrival and departure processes were easy to understand. The neighborhood is very safe with families walking dogs and babies throughout the day (don't go too many blocks over though. kinda sketchy). We always felt safe and everyone in that area is so friendly. There were many small bakeries and restaurants within walking distance. Loved Pizza Delicious and also the Bywater Bakery. Elizabeth's was soooo good and within walking distance as well. Our daughter's wedding was at The Marigny Opera House, just a short distance away. Renters should keep in mind that the downstairs bedrooms are "shotgun" style in that you walk through each one to get to the back of the house, which was fine for us since we were all family, but something to keep in mind. In addition, the King/Queen bedroom is upstairs (steep steps), so anyone with knee problems should stay on first floor. The house has heat and ac, and we were always comfortable. The back porch and sitting area was a very welcome place to relax each evening and morning. We would most definitely stay at this property again. Great experience.

Not only was the home everything we hoped for during our New Orleans vacation, but the hosts were spectacular! They gave us many spectacular recommendations and had clear and helpful communication during our stay. The house itself was very comfortable and had all the needed conveniences for a home away from home. We look forward to returning in the future!

The property was exactly as advertised! Very clean plenty of room for all of us. The coffee bar was a nice touch and we enjoyed both the covered porch and outdoor area. Would definitely recommend!

Cathy was the ultimate host, with a beautiful home in a great location for both French Quarter and local favorite neighborhood spots. Spotless and well stocked with lovely outdoor area in the rear to relax in between exploring. Will stay here again for future visits.

The house itself was so cute and charming, and it was on a nice street, but the surrounding streets were a little sketchy. We didn't have any issues, but we also didn't walk around much locally. We took Ubers, which were very affordable from the location.

The Perfect Place
We loved our stay here. The house was charming. It had parking and a great outdoor space. We could walk to the French Quarter, but the Bywater neighborhood was amazing all by itself. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for my daughter's 30th birthday. The hosts were really good at communicating too. I would stay here every time I came to New Orleans.

We had a great time staying here for Jazz Fest! Cathy was very flexible and communicative, and the house was full of character in the classic New Orleans style. Also loved being in Bywater as well!

So much Fun!
Cathy was such a great host. So attentive with communication and giving us tips about our stay for Mardi Gras. The house was above my expectations. Lots of room for for of us and a nice patio. I love the Bywater and have friends that live there. We walked to the French quarter at times too and it was easy to get an Uber as well. I will be back for sure!

Cute Shotgun
We all really loved the home and there was plenty of room for the five of us. The neighborhood is quiet and the house is the historic shotgun home we were hoping for and made us feel like part of New Orleans. The back yard was perfect for us to hang out in the evenings.

Great "shotgun" style house
In general this is a very clean house that can accommodate many people. The owners have clearly thought about: "what would visitors want or need in this house" and implemented everything they thought about. The neighborhood is fantastic-- walking down Burgundy street there are endless coffee places and restaurants. The only thing one should know is that the house is "shotgun" style, so there are no hallways. The person in the front bedroom has to go through the second bedroom to get to the kitchen or bathroom. The third floor bedroom offers more privacy, but you have to go down a flight of stairs to get to a bathroom.

THE PROPERTY WAS VERY NICE JUST AS DESCRIBED, EXTREMLY SPACIOUS AND WELL DIVIDED. WE REALLY ENJOYED THE BACK PATIO AS WELL. WE RENTED A CAR A PARKING WAS VERY EASY. I WOULD DEFINETLEY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY TO FRIENDS!!!

Great weekend getaway
This is a beautiful house with plenty of space. A wonderful back porch and yard for relaxing also. 2 beds and bathrooms downstairs and 2 beds in a large room upstairs. The stairs are quite steep but that was no problem for us. Central air downstairs and a widow unit in the large room upstairs. We were very comfortable with the temp all weekend. Off street parking which was great and walking distance to Elizabeth’s for Sunday brunch which was fantastic. The neighborhood is fine and we would def stay here again. Thanks Cathy!
