The location was excellent,quiet and Helga was very friendly and made my wifes birthday special with a bunch of flowers, chocolates and a card. The cooked breakfast was excellent.

The room and bedding could have been cleaner. A long thick black hair was on the bottom sheet and traces of mascara on the underside of the pillow.

Helga was an excellent host (very knowledgeable and helpful in recommending places to visit and dine in the local area). We stayed in the Coach House which was very comfortable and beautifully furnished. It had everything we needed. Breakfast was served in the main house and was excellent. Plenty more to do in the area as we ran out of time so would definitely stay again!

We loved the absolutely beautiful room and the wonderful setting and hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble for our hostess. She was amazing and so accommodating.

We had the old coach house which was stunning. It was lovely having the garden to sit in as it was so hot. The breakfast was excellent. Helga was very welcoming and a helpful host.

We got lost finding it both days but guess that's the price of feeling you're in the middle of the countryside!

Would revisit This is a hidden treasure! We were visiting for a wedding in Sandwich, the Old Rectory is situated between the church and reception venues. Helga & Gordon were very accommodating, extremely nice welcoming people, they keep the property to a very high standard and I would revisit in the blink of an eye!

I have absolutely no complaints! If I had one negative comment it would be that the coffee machine required larger cups...but if I'd remembered to mention it to Helga I have no doubt she would have supplied them!
