L’accueil était très chaleureux
Rien du tout

Perfect place to meet people, have a party or just chill (although you’d be nuts to not join in on the parties!). Highly recommend the snorkelling/ island tour/ boat party- rain hail or shine it’s a hoot!
The bunks were considerably well sized for singles and in comparison to how hard many beds are in Thailand, we’re quite comfortable.
The rooms are tiny! Don’t expect space to lay your bag down or personal space from your room mates. No hanging space for wet stuff (on an island- essential) so everything stays wet until you get to your next stop.

The staff were so friendly and I liked the resort style design of the hostel. Great views! I liked that the dorms were en suite, very clean, and with duvets!! It wasn't the aggressive style of party hostel that I was a bit scared about it was really chill, and my roommates were really nice.
The beds didn't have mattresses. At least in my room, which made me and my roommates actually cry with laughter. If you dive you might know what I mean, they have the sort of waterproof cushions that you have on a dive boat in the place of mattresses with sheets on the top, it was really uncomfortable to sleep on, also the air conditioning in the room was so cold, that even with the duvets we couldn't sleep, and most of us ended up sleeping outside. Even though it was rainy season, it wasn't raining and it was actually quite a nice experience. All of my roommates except one checked out of this hostel after one night, to check in to another accommodation in Railay, because of not being able to sleep, because we were unable to control the aircon ourselves, even just to turn it off. To be fair to this hostel it has alot of potential, the pool/bar area is really nice, great views, and lovely staff, but they need to get real mattresses, and sort out the air conditioning, because even though I had a nice time here, ultimately what you are paying for when you book a hostel is a bed to sleep in, which is the only thing they didn't really provide. Oh and they need curtains on the beds, the rooms are big enough to not feel cramped but the beds are too close together to get away with not having curtains.

One of the only hostels in Railay so it was good to meet people. There were a lot of activities to part take in, the staff were great and the pool was nice. We're a bit older so some of the local staff - Thai - sort of treat you like you're still a child, although in fairness some younger people these days still are so they can't really be blamed for that.
The hostel is situated on the top of a hill where there is a steep set of stairs bit of a haphazard for drunken guests and a rough trek at the end of a fruitful evening on the island. If you're physically impaired, it's challenging.

Bed Bugs, Avoid Avoid!!!!
We found two bed bugs a few hours after check in. As a result we told reception and showed them a video of them. At the time they were understanding allowing us to check out and said they would sort a refund through bookings.com due to the booking being paid for in advance. We agreed and had to rush to find a new accommodation. It's been several days and I have been ghosted by the property. Booking.com have also been in successful.
Do not stay here, pay a little more and get a bed bug free accommodation!!!

Really bad humidity smell in the room, found a cigarette in my bed, not clean and very hard mattress. Not because the price is pretty cheap that it’s allowed to let people stay that way. Really don’t understand good comments…

The location was good
The hotel proceeds to illegal practices listed by the staff in their internal policy, they confiscate your passport during your stay. This practice is totally illegal because passports are the property of the state and not of individuals. They do this because only one person can register you with the local immigration. The hotel imposes its practices because it does not want to put enough resources. In addition, the hotel does not refund your stay even though this practice is condemnable.
The hotel is connected to the bar at the bottom of the hill which makes a lot of noise at night!
The rooms are simple but the sheets are full of stains.
I absolutely don't recommend!

the pool is a great size and the bag lift saves you so much so you don’t have to carry them up the 89 stairs. the staff were very friendly and helpful. great that you get towels
not ideal that there was only one toilet and shower in the 8 bed dorm. you have to pay to refill your water which isn’t great. the walk from railay west isn’t too far but with heavy bags it feels like a long walk.

It is a big building with enough space to do whatever you want. You can stay by the swimming pool, eat in the restaurant, chill in the terrace with a beautiful view in the afternoon.
The rooms are good with their own toilet.
The stairs up to the hostel are not so difficult to go up as some lazy people had written.
In the room there was no noise and I could have a good rest
The mattress or perhaps the mattress cover uncomfortable.

nice social area, lots of group activities to take part in. if you’re looking to meet people and party, you can’t go wrong with this
beds have some sort of sweaty leather mattress, which I’m pretty sure are not designed for sleeping on. not comfortable
they refused to give us the control to the A/C, so if you want to turn it up or down in the night you can’t
rooms are quite shabby
door to room doesn’t close properly, it’s held shut by a magnet at the top so you can very easily push the door open even if it’s locked
we had to queue up for 45 mins to check in, even though we arrived at check in time. they check everyone in one by one, so a big group of people were left waiting for ages in the heat during a ridiculously slow check in process

very nice pool and nice rooms. nice staff, good activities that the hostel did for the people staying at the hostel. met many new people
it’s quite a hike to get to the hostel. probably like 500 stairs or something. very unsteady and a very annoying walk with the backpacks

They organize activities like pubcrawls if you are into that.
Have to hand in actual passport while staying there.
