The owner of the house and the person in charge were very kind, helpful and polite. The best thing was that we could check in any time we wanted and check out late the day we left.

I saw this property last year, so it was already one of my options for this year. The location for me is optimal for the price and its peace and quiet, so if thats what you want, you are getting a great deal. This year there was a good discount at the last minute we were about to make a different booking, so for me it became a great value for money opportunity, which is why we selected it for our 1 week vacation. The staff was very helpful with our questions and requests. The house inside was clean and tidy. And for us it had all the necessary necessities!

However, the pool was not as clean as it should. I believe it should have been in a much better condition, I don’t believe it was cleaned for the year (especially around the edges), and the filter was not working properly. Even when we started the filter on the first day, it wasn’t doing much. Also, several appliances where not working in the house. It didn’t bother us much, but it would have been an advantage if they were working: The most important was the air-condition unit in the kitchen/living room. It stopped working during our stay (half way through - the receiver or the remote stopped working), but the staff helped us find a solution! It was not bad after that. All the air-conditions were really good and kept the house cool, especially important for us for this kind of weather. Other appliances not working were the dishes washing machine, the bedroom TV, as well as the 2 controllers of the living room TV/satellite had not been used, therefore they got rusty and not functioning. The BBQ motor had also got rusty from the damaged battery, probably because it wasn’t used for a long time. The (Cypriot) BBQ worked perfectly when we bought our own motor at the local store. Great to have it and not needing to bring our own. Overall a good stay, just some things that kept the score from being a perfect or close to perfect.

Lovely Villa the best in Ayiathekla

Beautiful villa with garden and pool, is located in a quite residential district! I loved waking up and wach the lime tree from the window!

The lady who met us when we arrived did not know a single english word. That made it hard to have a conversation with her. She also lived right next door, and came over to the house we rented every day. It was very exhausting, and we felt like she was constantly watching us.
