An incredible breakfast. Animals and environment.

Humidity smell in the apartment.

The owner was very friendly. The garden for the children is superb, large, tranquil, lots of play equipment. The animals in the garden are amazing, pigs, chickens, goats, horses…..all within a very short walk.

There is no living room or comfy sofa to relax in on a night. However, the price of the property was far cheaper than most iso that’s probably why.

Accommodation is at a homestead, in the middle of nature. The apartment is spacious and equipped with all amenities one can need during the stay. Hosts are welcoming and friendly people.

The last few hundred meters to the accommodation lead on a gravel path which is not so bad but it can be valuable info for someone.

We had a wonderful stay! The facilities were excellent for families and everything exceeded our expectations. We hope to come back again!

We had a wonderful one-night stay here. Everything was perfect - from the very warm welcome we received to a good night's sleep, nice hot shower and a comfy sofa area to relax in. We opted for the breakfast and this was definitely a highlight: a delicious mix of typical Danish breakfast items, many of which homemade. Thanks for having us!

Excellent breakfast, playground and animals for the kids

Incredible stay with very welcoming hosts and a superb breakfast

we stayed 2 nights in this apartment that is a part of a big farm divided in apartments. The farm itself is in the middle of nowhere, about 20km from Ribe, at the end of a gravel road! The owner, a Dutch woman is lovely. We arrived late and had not booked dinner but she offered to cook something for us. The breakfast was also delicious and plenty, home-made bread and jams, fruits, ham, cheese, eggs etc The wifi works great. Also to operate the channels on TV. The beds are comfortable and it is very quiet! The shower is good and warm.

The flat is not very very cosy. It was rather chilly and humid when we were there. But there is an extra blanket! The banks around the dining table are not super comfortable especially to watch TV or read. The beds are two singles. The other bedroom cotains two bunkbeds.

everything! Saskia and Jan take wonderful care of everyone. Their property is like a miniature farm, a peaceful sanctuary where couples and families can totally unwind. Everything about Familiehuis Boysen is charming.

That we had to leave after only four nights.

THIS WAS A FABULOUS PLACE TO VISIT! IT WAS A LITTLE OUT OF THE CITY AND TRULY A FARM WITH LOTS OF ANIMALS. THERE WAS AN ENORMOUS PLAY AREA IF YOU HAD CHILDREN. OUR ACCOMMODATIONS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE AND THE COUPLE THAT RAN THE BED AND BREAKFAST WERE WARM AND WELCOMING. THE BREAKFAST THE NEXT DAY WAS AMAZING WITH FRESH BAKED ROLLS AMONG OTHER DELICIOUS ITEMS. WE REALLY LOVED OIUR STAY HERE.

NOT A THING--IT WAS GREAT!

We spent only 1 day in the farm and it was a pitty to leave so early as it was an amazing place for the kids; they were really happy to play in the playground, visit farm animals, the orchard, and all the garden around the house. We were lucky as we have the opportunity to see a pony just born that day! The mistress is very nice, always willing to help, she made us feeling as home. She prepared us an amazing breakfast with homemade food (jams, cakes, bread), eggs from their hens, strawberries from their orchard. Unforgettable!

Great rural location closeby to Ribe which is an awesome Nordic town full of history and color. Free open-space is a bonus, and the breakfast was awesome and made up from local produce.

Well, our appartment consisted of a 4-bunkbed room and a 2 single-bed room. The latter had no windows and it was extremely humid. We were exhausted from a full day on the road and got into our beds exhausted. I woke up after 15' drenched but it wasn't sweat, it was the bedsheets that were almost dripping wet from the humidity. So we had to change clothes and sleep on the bunkbeds in the other room. Zero points for comfort.

perfect location for Ribe trip or for trips to the western coast, located in the nature. Family house is so so heart warming! Friendly owner makes it even better!

The view and the barn with so many nice animals

For motorcyclists, the road to access the cottage is full of small stones, it can make you fall, be careful

The hosts were extremely friendly and we loved the animals. It was really easy to check in and come inside even though we arrived very late.

The apartment was very clean and the hosts are very nice and accommodating. The whole farm area is very lovingly arranged and it is a wonderful environment.

The apartment is relatively simple (no double bed, small kitchenette, no bowls for breakfast, the TV in the kitchen is a bit pointless as there is no comfortable seating)

We had a wonderful time in one of the apartments. The units were nice and clean, and big enough for 4 people or even two adults and 3 kids. The breakfast on the covered terrace was great. Special wishes with regards to the breakfast were taken care of. The beds are real good.

if there was anything to complain about i would only mention the TV Manual in Danish. Struggled to set up the connection over my phone. But maybe I am not familiar enough with it. The other point was an additional mirror outside of the bathroom, but after mentioning it to the host, we understand her explanation. (Rather not have the hairs in the living areas)

Home baked bread!

The breakfast was exceptional. Both my colleague and I were completely surprised by the quality and quantity of food provided. We were able to eat until we were stuffed and there were items we had not even touched. I have stayed at many a bed and breakfast over the years but none have surpassed the experience I had here.

I wish I could have stayed more than one night. There was nothing I didn't like. Even the cats and the dog came by to make us feel welcome.
