the entire place simply needs full refurbishment and upgrade, the cyclone tore down the adjacent apartment, this is currently rebuild so one should check if there is building noise. once done there will be a brand new Appartement and the old one which needs full upgrade already now floors are brownish, couch is brownish, the beds and all kitchen furniture as well as kitchen material should ideally be replaced. add white walls, redo the curtains, add some cool, stylish furniture and it will be a great place. we moved to another place since this one was too „old-looking“ for us

looking out at the ocean island being walking distance to everything is wonderful. you have everything you need full kitchen a bath soda stream comfy beds and even record player for some fun The hosts are wonderful and very helpful

Keys were in the door with a welcome note. This property is home away from home. Comfortable and fully equipped with everything couples or a family need for a short or extended stay.

There was nothing not to like.

Friendly hosts, fabulous location and the apartment was spacious and spotless. We will definitely be back.

Location

Was expecting to pay via credit or EFT transfer but owner wanted cash. There was no advance notice re this requirement and it proved awkward to come up with the money as our group only had credit cards with us. If payment is to be cash upon arrival, this should be very clearly stipulated at the beginning.

The location was lovely, very close to the riverfront. Sadly there is still a lot of damage to the surrounding buildings and shops from the cyclone in 2021. The weather was lovely for the first few days and we loved visiting the gorges and beaches. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well supplied with cutlery and appliances and a very good fridge. It was clean when we arrived.

The unit is located below the owners residence and we could hear their usual movements which were disturbing at night. The shower in the bathroom was not good and did not have a strong water pressure and was also too high. The cost of the accommodation was very pricey for what you got. Making allowances for what they went through with cyclone damage, we generally found it comfortable.

The location was excellent facing the water and plenty to look at. Not far away is the Pelican Feeding and also the mobile seafood truck.

Absolutely loved the location. Great place for fishing, close to the boat ramp and town. Loved the birds, especially the cheeky willy wagtail. Loved the sunsets/sunrise.
