I loved how close everything was. you didn’t have to leave the property, everything you needed was there

staff seemed not interested in customers always had to queue for breakfast, lunch and dinner despite their being unoccupied tables couldn’t get good times at the restaurants that required bookings subbed availability as all beachfront were pre-reserved by those in butler service.

I went on holiday with my friend and we had such wonderful stay at Sandals. It was even better than we expected. The main thing for us was how good the service was- everywhere we went the staff were so friendly and helpful :) Coming from London I am a little fussy when it comes to food but everything was fresh and so good with plenty of options. Both resorts were next to each other giving ample space to walk around, explore with plenty of bar/ restaurant options. Susan in particular was fab who served us a few times at Neptunes and the french restaurant. We also loved the sky bar and had some very fun evenings with excellent cocktails made my Shaquile and Larkan- who also provided plenty of entertainment!

Sometimes it was a little hard to find a sunbed by the infinity pool and had to wake up early to be able to get one. Also thought that Schooners restaurant should be option as a lunch option too as it is a beach side restaurant with very good fish options- we had dinner here twice as we really enjoyed it but would have been nice during the day time too. Sky bar needs to have music in the evenings and entertainment in the evenings could be better- main stage could have better live shows.

The guests were sometimes very rude. Majority of staff were nice but some a little unpleasant but I couldn’t blame them as I’d say they encounter rude people hourly

by 6.30am butlers would be putting towels on all the beds by the pool and the front beds on the beach irrespective if people did not turn up until midday - awful awful! gym needs modern equipment

That one waitress that was alone serving 10 couple on the romantic beach dinner that was an add-on and has to get refunded. Room service food. Shops value

Quality of staff in Sandals Club reception. On arrival, conceirge found our booking and took bags to the room. Club reception could not find the booking and demanded proof of the booking, including the original email after 45 minutes with nothing much happening, we suggested they check if the booking was under my first name - it was. On check out they insisted I handnt paid for a dinner I bought in advance, in spite of me showing them the email proof and the credit card transaction. Once again they were demanding the original email and I had to leave before it was sorted out, so I am still trying to get the money back. I felt like I was being scammed, not once, but twice. We also had a bad experience of rude and unhelpful staff in the club reception, bordering on unprovoked hostility when we tried to book a restaurant after which we gave up trying. When you are paying close to $US1,000 a night you dont expect to be treated like a criminal or subjected to rudeness by any member of staff. Not convinced I'd go back after that.

We should have been told on arrival about booking into restaurants for evening time . That way we would have booked a couple days in advance. Hairdryer in room needs to be upgraded

some of the restaurants that were supposed to provide a quick stop lunch turned out to take the longest to provide food. for example a pizza from dinos took over an hour and a half to provide

Staff, compound, facilities, food & restaurants. Departure lounge with lockers was a great touch since we had 4 hours between check out and departure shuttle.

AC in both rooms had issues, 1st room display didn't work and temperature couldn't adjust, 2nd room AC display worked but still temperature wouldn't adjust- 1 room was too hot & 1 was too cold and unlike goldilocks we had no third room ...lol. Reservations for restaurants & snorkeling were very hard to get for out short stay of 3 nights Evening time food options were a little limited as lunch closes off at 3pm Breakfast starts late (7/7.30am)- that was a bit late for me for.my coffee & I didn't care for.the machine coffees Tranquilty tub in room was not properly cleaned, had to.wash it out before use- had dust & a hair But aside from the above issues (none of which were reported in all fairness as the grounds were so great and we were out of the room all day) the stay was an exceptional 1... it was my first time being to a sandals

Rooms: perfect Cleanliness : perfect Food: good,however long wait times at specialty restuarants Drinks: perfect Staff: 90% were excellent. Those who are good are really good, a few weren't very good as well. Airport transfer: seemless, on time and very very good Check in: process took a little long but expected as we arrived during peak hours. Resort activities: excellent! The snorkel trip offered was excellent and the highlight of my trip Housekeeping: excellent! Please tip the staff. They do a really good job and are very hard working Pools and hot tubs: plentiful so you're never crowded and can have some alone time even though it's such a huge resort. Departure lounge: excellent for those who have a late flight. After check out you can store your luggage, shower and even iron if needed in a very comfortable lounge. This was very impressive

Check in: the check in person kept referring to Mr and Mrs when there aren't any mrs. Gay couples do exist. It was a bit offensive and then she kept referring to my partner as my brother. (In addition to this sometimes we were served after others even though we would be in que or seated before, difficult to pinpoint if it was due to skin color or sexual orientation, neither of which is acceptable). This continued throughout restuarants, bars and in general throughout the resort. Restuarants: we visited almost every Restuarant on both properties, however butchs chophouse was ridiculous with their wait time. We had a 9pm reservation, which is already late, was seated later than 9pm and didn't get our meals until 1030pm. An elderly couple next to us left before being served as well and another couple next to us also were very disgruntled. Please note Darren, the manager, was excellent but having to wait 1 hr and 30 mins or thereabout to get cold food is unacceptable. The order was also messed up but we were hungry and simply ignored it. The jerk shack was in general very good but somedays the wait was a bit too long. 45 mins plus to be served something as simple as jerk was a bit too long. All other Restuarants were really good with kimonos being 10/10 and butchs steakhouse on the royal side being very close behind. The Donut shop is also extremely good and so is Cafe Paris. Coffee: the coffee is terrible. If you're an earlier riser like us both, you're not going to get coffee until 7am. I know it's vacation but we are early risers and would have preferred a nice cup of coffee very early. I do know there are machines in the lobby but the coffee wasn't that good. It is the Caribbean, where is the blue mountain coffee? Meal times: most restaurants open at 730am with 1 opening at 7am. As mentioned before we are early risers so getting a quick bite early with a sunrise view is something one would expect at sandals. This didn't happen.

We loved our stay at sandals, our hotel overlooked the Italian restaurant and pool on one side and the beach on the other. we stayed our honeymoon and can’t wait to go back! The staff make it- so friendly and happy to help. We did hear of other people being upgraded (we weren’t but it didn’t matter, still lovely).
