Rawson's Retreat is in a very good, central location in Tamworth. The large gracious old house allowed our family group to "spread-out" and also be together at varying times. The laundry doubles as a second bathroom, with shower and toilet. Self catering is easy, and there seemed to be plenty of condiments, oils, etc. to assist with that (although some were nearly empty - not sure if housekeeping had overlooked keeping them topped-up, or if they were just random left-overs from previous guests). The barbeque was a generous size and easy to use in the covered outdoor area. Undercover parking for several vehicles is at the rear of the property, with covered access to the back-door (appreciated as it was raining heavily at times). The bed-linen was good quality and the beds were comfortable queens and two king-singles in the bedrooms that were unlocked for our use.

This house is beautiful. The rooms and beds are great. The breakfast supplied is outstanding. If you are thinking of booking this house. Think no more and just book it. You will be so happy you did.

Lovely spacious accommodation; very clean and well provisioned for a family group. The included breakfast was fantastic. Great location with easy walking to Main Street shops and cafes.

Dishwasher broken

It was a lovely to have breakfast covered with a well stocked fridge, we were relieved after a late check in. The location was fantastic and most things in walking distance.

A wonderfully spacious bed and breakfast! We especially liked the outdoor area during the summer evening. A great distance to town and a secure undercover carport. We had an amazing stay and also really enjoyed the food that was supplied for breakfast.

The breakfast provisions were appreciated and were enough for a couple of meals for us. We liked the location of Rawson's Retreat--close enough to the CBD for a short walk, yet still in a nice quiet area too.
