Bathroom’s water was not hot enough. Changed the room was the same situations. We waste one night stay in the room without hot water.

Beautiful surroundings, very friendly and helpful staff, helped us with making bookings for activities. We had a lovely 90min massage in the spa.

The hotel didn’t feel alive, a bit desolate. Very limited room service menu, many things not available or had to order 1 day in advance. The room was ok, with a nice outside area and pool access.

it’s a bit expensive but it’s a unique Japanese resort. definitely feel like you’re staying in Japan. also rooms don’t have a TV so you’ll need to go out and about to explore.

I was very disappointed by my experience at the Hoshinoya hotel For the price you are paying and for a 5 star hotel, the hotel is not at the level First, the room service is not done everyday which is a first time in a hotel like this There are also specific time where you can eat at the hotel and if you are missing those times, you cannot have access to any food which is very bad knowing the hotel is isolated, we had to go through this unpleasant experience There are a lot of hotels in Ubud and I would not recommend this one

Fantastic place with the great scent of Japanese way of living in the middle of Bali. Very peaceful. Nice food as well. Perfect for a lazy breakfast as well as a late night stargazing with a bottle of champagne.

The architecture, design, and landscape of the resort and the room is great. It offers different experience from other resort or similar place in Ubud.

Choice of food. There is only one restaurant, the food and service was great, but wish there are more options.
