The location was outstanding - with some of the best views of any accommodation. The host was very friendly, very responsible (via WhatsApp, which was very convenient), and sorted everything out that we needed. The pool is situated to look right across the gulf. There is good privacy. The 10 minute walk into the village square for tavernas and coffee is through authentic old streets.

The upstairs bedroom meant a bit of trek in the night for the bathroom. Some of the windows were not designed to avoid bumping your head. But these were minor issues at an outstanding place.

I have to say first that the most wonderful thing in Esperos Suites & Villas is the swimming pool and the view for the bay. ;) Based on the pictures I expected a small pool. In fact it is just enough for 3-4 children. The apartment we had was clean and comfortable. It was a little bit dark, but this is the consequence of the local building style which I like a lot. It had fantastic porch to sit with marveles view. The only con is the location and parking. It is quite hard to reach a city main square - approx. 10 min walking complicated paths. Approaching with a bigger car to the apartments can be complicated because of very narrow streets. Parking is very small and it is really hard to maneuver. Least but not last we got great support and hospitality from Maria who takes care of the place. Overall we had a great time!

The best thing about this hotel is the view. We enjoyed the mount Pelion and Pagasitikos sea view from our balcony and the sunsets. The location was very calm, surrounded by nature. We were in a loft suite which was nicely decorated and would be ideal for a couple's vacation. The host was very friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations about the area. We loved Lafkos village and the main square.

The loft suite is advertised as a 3-person (3 adults or 2 adults with child) suite. This is not the case - the third bed is a sofa that is converted into a bed but there is no mattress covering the whole structure, you need to complement with the sofa cushion that cannot get stabilised into place. This is ok if the 3rd person is a small child but would definitely not do for an adult or tall child. Additionally, there are no shutters in the ground floor - where the 3rd "bed" is located - having sunlight entering the room before we would like to. The loft suite is not child friendly mainly because of the big staircase leading to the double bed and the double bed floor not being safe for a small child to be in. If you are travelling with babies/toddlers/small children we would not recommend this accommodation. Although we were very thorough about closing windows and doors given that we were surrounded by nature, we had some scary encounters: We had spiders fell up to us during the night twice which was very upsetting.
