Stayed at Crescent Bay 3 times now. Excellent location, the room was 5 strides from the beach and if the tide is in perhaps 17 - 20 strides from the sea. About 30 if the tide is out 💖
The beds, LOL.. Thai beds are always very sparse in the padding. But I always know that, they are what they are..
Just one of those little things, I always miss my own bed. but if your a hard bed fan Thailand's the place to be 🙂

Run down / cleanliness especially the toilet / i clean the air filter for them as there was almost no wind from it and noisy

The location is good, very close to the beach.
It is just a room. Only one staff over there, no receptionist with the counter. He was only one who just asked us for the payment with totally unofficial, even no receipt. No breakfast, no accommodation. It looks like someone build this 5 rooms and employ one staff to take care of it. The room was not bad, but it just only a room.

The place is right on the beach. It was very clean and quiet. The owners were very nice. Although they don't speak much English, they were very helpful. They arranged a taxi for is to go back to the pier. We had no complaints with the accomodation.
It is a little far from the Koh Samet Pier but if you take a speedboat, it shouldn't be an issue.
The restaurants on the beach were a bit on the expensive side. I'd recommend taking some water and snacks from a 7-11 because there aren't many stores nearby and they are very expensive.

right on the beach. good price. some restaurants and bars on the beach right next door. would recommend hiring a bike as 10-12 mins away from pier. situated in middle of island
large shower head didn’t work / smaller shower has no power (takes ages to clean yourself properly)
