The property was excellent I’m every way and the owners were very friendly. We will definitely be go back there and using it as a base what a lovely house !

Absolute perfection. For anyone looking to visit Inverness, forget about fancy overpriced generic hotels, this is without a doubt the text book definition of B&B. Rooms - a wonderfully decorated rooms with a highland theme, where even the most fault-finding person would be left speechless. The attention to details rival both in practicality and decor all but the most exclusive hotels. The rooms are a subtle celebration of the Scotland with guest always being the main focus. Amenities - along with the usual features such as kettle, coffee, tea packets etc... the host provided slippers and soft robes, ear plugs, hot water bottles, neck pillows and ferm bed that provided a sleep that even the most carefree feline would envy. In addition, we were welcomed with a drum of of good quality whiskey and two home made deserts in the room. For the first time visitor in the highlands, these simple items leave you in awe, for such simple things elevate this from a overnight stay to lifetime experience. The showers are over excellent quality and pressure, with large cabinets. The room we stayed also had desk in case the need of work should arrive however, it is ones opinion that this would be a most terrible waste of such surroundings 😉. Breakfast - breakfast was a full English with all the trimmings. In addition to this the host heard of my interest in haggis and also provided this for breakfast. Location - fairly easy to find with navigation, located next to another b&b called Garry. For restaurants, only tried one but I can recommend the cottage restaurant. About 30 min walking but definitely worth it. Summary - For anyone looking to start a B&B get a note pad and a few days in here, you'll have all the information you need. I can't imagine a better place for a first stay in the highlands, that being said for those looking for a romantic getaway, this place will not all tick the boxes but create new ones for future reference.

Breakfast was good and variety to suit everyone. B&B was good overall although needing spruced up a bit. Bed very comfortable and I slept well.

no-one answered the door after two rings and no-one answered two different phone numbers. Only when I was back on the street did I see someone leave and went back - this is the last thing you need after a long journey.

As we entered the room, we can see why it’s rated 9.8+ Every single detail was perfect. We felt like at home, and Alison was taking good care of us. It would be better to stay a few day more.

The room was so cozy, and Alison (landlady) had any kind sort of attention in any small details. Our staying, even though too brief, has been gorgeous! The bed was big and comfortable, the breakfast so delicious!

I had a great restful night. Lovely home with warm hosts. My room was very comfortable and even featured a scotch nightcap. Greatly appreciative of the help with my laundry as well. Breakfast was solid and set me off to my day with gusto. Thanks again!

Beautiful rooms with welcoming home bakes and dram. Comfortable bed. Bathroom had everything you could think of, including bathrobe and slippers. Immaculate. Beautiful breakfast.

Can’t fault anything. My mum’s bedroom wasn’t en suite but she’d her own bathroom, which was perfect.

From the welcoming wee dram and homemade biscuits to the make up remover in the bathroom plus an excellent breakfast. Alison has an obvious talent in hospitality.

Great location, very clean and comfortable. Alison even made me a very nice cooked breakfast early in the morning so I could catch my early train from Dingwall!

Alison was a lovely host at this comfortable, quiet B&B. She recommended a delicious Indian restaurant a short walk away and provided a lovely full breakfast. The B&B itself is a lovely home and the updated ensuite shower was great. This B&B (and Dingwall itself) was very quiet, which was nice for relaxing, but only a short 20-30 minute drive from Inverness and Loch Ness giving us plenty to do.

We received a very warm welcome from Alison on arrival. The room was beautifully appointed, very clean, with plenty of options for hot drinks. Plenty of breakfast options and the quality and service was second to none.

We just love the Urrard B&B. It`s so cozy and lovely. Alison treat us so well with a fantastic breakfast. Hope we see us again next year.

Breakfast was lovely. The whisky, flowers and home bakes were very welcoming. Great selection of hot drinks.
