Elim House is advertised as a B + B, however they don't do breakfast and haven't for a while, so a bit annoyed having paid for breakfast which we didn't get. Also in need of modernisation.

The only thing would be that it would be super helpful if breakfast was available but it didn't ruin our stay at all.

Really enjoyed our stay. Mark was a fantastic host, very welcoming with great communication. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and excellent value for money. Parking is completely free and plenty of spaces available. The only thing missing for me and this is very minor but would be of benefit, is a mini fridge in the room.

Lovely, clean room, perfectly located for the attractions in Bowness. Mark was very welcoming on our arrival and told us everything we needed to know.

The guest house was easy to find and there was free parking. The room was exceptionally clean and beautifully presented. There was tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room with plenty of milk and a couple of biscuits too. They provided excellent amenities including body wash, shampoo and hand soap. We had a room with a super king size bed which was again exceptionally comfortable and we had an en-suite bath with a shower over. The towels were of a good quality and lovely to use as the bathroom radiator was heated. If I could give a 20 for cleanliness I would as all of the areas in the guest house were spotless. The host was friendly and communicated well.

The only minor negative point would be that the water pressure wasn’t great but it is an old building in otherwise excellent condition.
