Beautifully decorated, comfortable furnishings in the bedroom.
The spa and the mizumi restaurant were our highlights.
The spa was a bit over crowded and loud at times.

We arrived and were met by Reception and given a Glass of Prosecco which was off to a great start
We were also shown where Breakfast and the cocktail Bar etc was located and then shown to our room
We were also shown how to work the hot tub on the Balcony worked and I am glad we were put in a room at the side of the hotel as it was more secluded than the front with the hot tub as at the front you are on show when using the hot tub. Breakfast was Included in the price that we paid and it was buffet style which you could help yourself from cooked full english to continental and the range of Teas was great and lots of choice. The terrace was lovely and you could see looking out the view you could see a corner of Lake Windermere which was lovely and beautiful to see and what a lovely light lunch with a Sandwich and Side Salad we had, We also ate two evening meals at the hotel when we were there for a 4 night break which were superb and the staff in the cocktail bar were so helpful and friendly and the service from them was excellent.
Car park a little bigger as it was a bit tight with getting parked in the spots

Staff were very friendly, we got a complimentary room upgrade. Nice little pub, spa was very nice, steam room was lovely! Mizumi Restraunt was lovely
If I were real picky I would say the hot tubs were more on the cooler side, saying that it was still nice.

Loved every minute of our stay - hotel was outstanding, hot tub in the room was perfect. Plenty of options to suit your needs, we loved the cocktail bar on an evening. 100% would stop again in the near future!

Great location. The exterior suite was just as described. Lovely lounge area and great to have a private hot tub. Hotel beautifully furbished. Very elegant. Staff were very friendly.

Staff and facilities were great. The pool was lovely and the kids had a great time in it. The room was very clean and tidy.
The breakfast spread was amazing, great selection and quality of food.
The bed was a little on the hard side for us.

Paying to park your car in the hotel when you are already paying to stay overnight is ridiculous
The hotel is advertised as a spa hotels, it certainly is not that. There are 3 treatment rooms above the pub in the hotel grounds and you access the pool through the pub with people eating their dinner
No temperature controls on the showers in the spa, water is far too hot

Absolutely beautiful amenities, the spa was relaxing and clean. The bar area was very well stocked and the staff were lovely and attentive.
The rooms were spacious and welcoming, lovely decor.
Unfortunately some of the bed sheets had dust and marks on them.
We also were not able to book any spa treatments due to it being full, maybe for future leave some slots for people who are paying for a room.
The spa was also very very busy at times and not enough seating for the amount of people.
We were also not informed of any parking fees, it is £12 a day!

We disliked everything. We did not unpack. We slept one night out of three and decided to go somewhere else.
This place is not a 5 stars at all. It is at best a three stars - and I’m being generous here. It is not clean, the facilities are old and not welcoming and the resort is extremely tacky..

Excellent hotel, room, facilities and food was exceptional. Easy ten minute walk to local shopping, drinking and eating. Really friendly staff, a real asset.

Sean the concierge excellent ,all the staff was great ,house staff brilliant ,location superb ,good food in the pub bar spa area ,didn't use the main restaurant , breakfast as expected good , would stop again
booked through Booking .com £12 day parking fee so book direct as i don't feel this is right

I have visited the Lakes Hotel and Spa many time before. The welcoming staff, immaculate facilities and relaxing atmosphere makes it impossible to stay anywhere else. The property is well maintained and a pleasure to visit. I recommend it to all my friends and family.

Location great, we had a family room with separate bedroom which meant we could relax once toddler was in bed!
Very friendly, helpful staff.

Only real complaint was curtains in room - thin & did very little to block any light, which meant an early wake up!

Everything was amazing couldn’t fault anything the food in the hotel is fab didn’t try the pub but the Asian restaurant is world class
