Lovely house everything you need we visited Leek to attend a wedding first night we had a walk around the bars and restaurants of Leek literally 5 minuets walk away. Beds are comfy, parking at front,full kitchen and sunny garden. Excellent stay...

Lovely property in a great location.

There was a travel size hair dryer available, but kept over heating and wouldn't work. A full size hair dryer would be great. Definitely wouldn't stop me from returning to stay here again 😊

Great location, parking outside the property, supermarket next door, clean and tidy. No complaints. Plenty big enough for two adults and two teenagers. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The keypad is easy to use, it is hard to see the numbers on a sunny day, especially because the screen is very scratched, you just have to shield it from the sun. Hold your palm on the screen to make the numbers appear. We had a great couple of days, we will definitely stay there again.

The house was very clean and tidy. Beds and bed linen we're immaculate. Towels were pure white obviously laundered. Overall the house was comfortable and well looked after.

The cooker was unsafe as when you opened the door to the oven the glass inside came crashing down. This was very startling plus dangerous. This has been mentioned a few times in the reviews and still the owner has failed to amend this. This needs attention asap. The garden was very neglected, the table needed jet washing, this made us not want to sit outside. Which I was looking forward to as seen in the pictures on the website.

The house was fine in a good location, easy walking distance from the town. Close to Alton Towers.

Once the property was booked, I was asked to upload photographic ID, e.g. passport. I thought this was a scam and was not happy to do this. The agent contacted me and was very helpful. Despite this, I kept getting emails asking for ID or threatening I would not be allowed into the property. Eventually I photographed by bus pass. Was not given the code to the property until the morning of arrival. Key pad was scratched and directly in the sun so difficult to operate. Again, agent was helpful and we got in. There is a notice at the front of the property warning car would be towed away if not authorised. As they did not ask for our registration number I was worried. Assured this was OK by the agent but a warning beforehand would have avoided this anxiety. I would not hire this property again purely because of the stress it caused me with all the messages and uncertainty.

Super convenient location. Dog friendly, enclosed garden. Comfy beds, 2 toilets ( always useful with 4 adults)

Parking was a bit random. The oven door has a mind of its own ( it kept springing shut) One of the fridge door shelves is broken. But these are really minor niggles.

Lovely property, well maintained, spacious, local area very nice with plenty of shops/restaurants.

The location is good for accessing local walks and the town of Leek.

Location is quite noisy. The initial registering with the property managers was ridiculously complex and the check in details were not sent until the day of arrival.The majority of the storage space in the property was occupied by bedding and towels.

Great location for alton towers and with a lidl over the road we didn't have to take a weekends worth of food. Good sized space for a family.of 4.

There was no instructions on how to work the heating or the oven which would have been helpful. The oven is dangerous as the pull down door was spring loaded and it took one of us to hold it open whilst the other one took the food in/out. The internal glass panel dislodged as soon as we opened it but the internal grill had already heated up, (which we thought was the oven) either way it was too hot to touch. it was 9pm and the kids needed feeding so we persevered for 20mins until pizza was cooked then didn't use it again. Had takeout next 2 nights.

as a family and pet friendly property, where dogs aren’t allowed upstairs, some form of stair gate would be really useful we we’re travelling with a small dog and toddler, so the stairs were a big interest to them, so blocking the stairs in quite a skinny hallway was a bit of a challenge

Great house easy to find and so good to have Lidl just a stones throw away. Nice to have a downstairs toilet too. Quiet area and only a short distance to Alton towers too.

The fridge didn't quite get cool enough and the dishwasher either needs a service or a clean through cycle. But the coffee machine was a nice extra.

Well appointed central property just a few minutes walk from Leek town centre. Spotlessly clean,comfortable and spacious with everything provided that you needed. Would recommend this property to any body wishing to stay in the Leek area.
