The pool

This holiday was a pleasant surprise for us. It will be appreciated by those looking for a quiet location, those not looking for nightlife, for families with children. There is a gradual entrance to the sea, the sea and the beach are clean. They cook well in restaurants on the beach. The pool in the area was sensational with a depth of about 160 cm and for children about 50 cm. The accommodation company responded flexibly to our suggestions. The accommodation was nice and clean, our apartment also had a well-equipped kitchen with dishes. Arrival and departure was possible by self-service. The Lidl store is only a 15-minute walk away. There is good bus access to the center.

Everything was alright.

Dirty pool and staircase

My family enjoyed a wonderful vacation from May to June this year at South Bay Apartment. It was a truly beautiful place, and the apartment itself was incredibly cosy, providing everything we needed for a comfortable long-term stay. We were delighted to have a balcony that offered a scenic view of the seaside. Moreover, we were thrilled to find a large and pristine beach just a stone's throw away across the road, and a Lidl supermarket within a convenient 10-minute walk, offering an extensive range of products. I would also like to extend my appreciation to Maya for her responsiveness, assistance with any issues, and kind attitude. We had an amazing experience, and we would absolutely love to visit this place again in the future.

Not clean enough for us. The room was facing a construction site and the view was not nice at all and all the dust was in the rooms

The smell in the kitchen was really bad because of the water disposal. There were no garbage bags. The carpet and the sofa were not 100% clean.

you need to contact manager by phone, when arrival. place have a lot of rooms, without reception. you need to buy everything when you stay, even toilet paper. pool was very cold.

The location was very close to a beach area and a 15 minute drive to downtown Varna. Finding and parking at the apartment was very easy and the host was extremely communicative. There is small coffee shop/shop at the apartment complex (opens at 0900 daily) and there is a very nice Lidl that is less than a five minute drive away. The apartment was very well appointed and very clean and our family of three was very happy with the experience. Some may find the bed a little firm, that is a subjective opinion. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.

The bed was perhaps a bit firm and we had one pillow per person, but that did not ultimately detract from our stay.

The room wasn’t cleaned after previous guests. Absolutely not cleaned. Food on the sofa and sofa cushions. Stains on them. Hairs of all parts of human body on the sink and in the shower. Cutlery was dirty! All the dishes were in the rests of food, though this place has a dishwasher! The cooker was dirty with food , and the same with the fridge. Spilt coffee in the cupboard. So it was given to new guests without cleaning. When I asked for cleaning it was promised only for the next day. I wanted to take my money back. They sent me a new cleaning, who left dirty cutlery, and in general all the same, except they cleaned the food crumbs from the sofa( but not the stains on the cushions, the cover of which is removable and can be washed easily) . all the kitchen furniture was dirty The place has huge stairs to the front door and a very steep winding stair case to the sixth floor, so if you come with a baggage, arrange the manager to meet you downstairs to give you the keys and the chip from the elevator because otherwise you will have to climb up to the sixth floor all way with your baggage as they leave the keys in the door upstairs.

We accessed the elevator with only one key for 3 adults. Even after writing to the host, it has not been resolved. Very far from an ATM or from Varna downtown without a car Just one decent place to eat in the area The complex was full of children running everywhere, pretty noisy. All the umbrellas at the pool except 2 were broken. Beautiful complex with no amenities

The 3-room apartment was spacious and had a nice view to the pool and sea. We had bedding sheets, covers, towels, a washing machine, and more. Everything that you would need for an easy stay.

Since we were eight people, it would be good to have plates, bowls, and utensils for eight as well. We only had 4 of each. Would also be good to have a small pot, not just large ones. Another good addition would be a non-stick pan and a large broom and a wish mop. For longer stays a vacuum cleaner would help.

Nice new construction, still under works. Can be pleasent for more families with kids but that's all

In the middle of nowhere, almost

Our favourite place in Varna, but...

...this year we got an apartment where the furniture on the balcony was in very bad shape, there were scratches on the wall and the kitchen drawer was partly broken. They should repaint the walls and replace any deteriorated elements before accepting other guests!

Unique place so beautiful and clean the apartment are fully equipped with everything for your stay… ( washing machine, fridge, oven, air con. Comfortable beds.)
