The owners made us feel very welcome Breakfast was excellent Nice rooms.and exceptional views of the Beach front. Very relaxed ambience. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

Parking could be a bit of a pain but that is for all guest houses in that area but the parking permit made it a lot easier.

Great hosts and a great breakfast, brilliant location apart from trying to find a parking space.

How close to the beach it was

Lack of parking, I had to get up at 5am to get a space. Blood on bed sheets, thick dust on tele and lamps. Wardrobe back was broken and 'fixed' with duct tape. Duvet was very thin. Mattress was thin and clearly old. Windows had no opening restrictors on them so someone could easily open them wide enough to fall out the window. Stains on the carpet. Curtains that didn't properly fit the bay window so light came in as soon as the sun came up.bits of tobacco in bedside draw where it hadn't been cleaned properly. The place in general looked very run down and old fashioned. The owner awkwardly standing there watching as I ate breakfast and the fact they still charged me for 4 nights when I only stayed for 3 as I'd had enough of the place.

Perfect position, overlooking the bay, between beach, harbour and shopping area. Convenient for all. Quiet at night. Permit for free parking, got a place on road right outside. Comfortable bed, full length mirror, two chairs, plenty of drawer and wardrobe space. Obliging hosts. A bit quirky. The superb view!

Not enough shelves in bathroom. No soap. Dirty windows. Very small TV, on wall behind the bed- in the wrong place to view from bed. A bit shabby, needs some TLC.

Had an amazing time, Gordon, Margaret and Sean are so friendly and full of fun. We had such a good laugh with them. The room was spacious with everything you could need, comfy bed, great en-suite bathroom with large shower. Toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. Amazing sea view. Drinks at the bar are so cheap!! Breakfast was lovely, top quality full English, cereals and home made marmalade and jam. Fresh ground coffee too. Free parking as they supply you with a permit and the harbour, beach and town centre are a stones throw away. Amazing value for money and we can’t wait to go back!

Parking was very difficult even with a pass from the guesthouse. Couldn't open the windows. Very dated could do with an update. The photos on Booking.com must be old photos as the outside was different colour than it is now.

we liked the location close to everything we wanted

bed not comfortable . could of had a bigger duvet and more maintenance was needed to be done in our room we stayed at as wardrobe door kept opening when walking past it . breakfast was ok but had better .

Friendly owners, good location, good communication before arriving.

Could do with some earplugs being provided, to drown out the noisy revellers outside. Shower temperature was tricky to figure out BUT I must admit we did not raise this with the owners otherwise I’m sure they would have advised us of the knack to it.

The Beaufort guesthouse is a lovely we hade a room with a sea view the room was spotless and the staff were fantastic and the full English breakfast was lovely to I can't rate this guest house enough will definitely be going back there
