We like the hospitality of Ernesto, breakfast was very tastey, the room was as expected and mentioned in the web , comfy bed. Bathroom needs investement otherwise all good, well recommend it and come again

Our room was clean, comfortable and only a 5 minute walk from the heart of town - exactly what we needed. The best thing about staying here is Ernesto - he's an exceptional host (who makes a lovely breakfast!). He was more than happy to step in and help us when our transfer to Manuel Antonio had forgotten to collect us and made numerous efforts on our behalf to try and get ahold of the transfer provider, finally helping to arrange a replacement vehicle to collect us. He really did go above and beyond to resolve what could have been a very stressful situation.

Our room was like staying in a treehouse! it was perfect to enjoy the beautiful location in Monteverde. Included was a yummy breakfast and a most helpful host. Great value.

Ernesto was a brilliant host and made us a complimentary excellent breakfast during our stay with multiple options. We were overwhelmed with his friendliness and generosity. The room size was perfect and exceptionally clean and we loved the fact we had a table and chairs outside the room to sit and enjoy the sounds of Costa Rica. The location was a perfect distance from the National Park and also shops and restaurants in Monteverde.

Where to begin?? Ernesto and wife (and Nina the cat) were amazing hosts!!! From meeting us at our car to scheduling and confirming a night hike and transportation (bus-boat-bus) to Arenal, to pleasant conversations and impeccable service, he was the best proprietor I've ever met! This small, quaint hotel (3 rooms), is set right on the edge of town, very easy to get around on foot. Very comfy room, bed and private bath. The landscaping is so Tico with beautiful flowers and plants. Did I mention Nina? She welcomed us from our first arrival to our last. Beautifully laid table for the cooked to order breakfast, fresh juice and great coffee were an added bonus! Would revisit!1

A neighboring dog, down the canyon, barked a bit. Walking up the hill from town. Seriously, nothing!!! Only the fact that we only got to stay in Monteverde for one night!!
