My stay at Adelaerthoeve Logies & Ontbijt was nothing short of excellence. I've stayed in many unique places, and this place definitely exudes a sense of charm with a stunning backdrop of nature. The room was decorated to a high standard, with ample of space to move around and plenty of facilities with throws and soft pillows to the touch, making you feel right at home. You are a bike ride away from the Hoge Veluwe zoo national park, a prime location when you stay here at Shaarsbergen. The B&B provides e-bikes, which was a delight as I fired up the ''sport'' setting to race through the long, elongated pathways of the national park. What made the stay even special is you're welcomed by such kind and welcoming owners, quick to assist and have a nice chat too. It was lovely to be one of the first customers to try their own made cracking beer, with notes of coriander and oranges. Well done Freek and the crew. What I also found pleasant about my stay was to find out, from the owners, that I was staying on a plot of land, that was a station during WW2. I was also told about how the owners work together with the local farmers, as a way to circumnavigate, the new Dutch regulations directly impacting farmers. A mini history lesson and a sense of the local Dutch camaraderie. My only regret is not staying here longer, all the more reason to return. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Beautiful place, tastefully designed and impressive old structure. Lovely people and great breakfast! The city of Arnhem and the nature surrounding it are beautiful. My daughter especially enjoyed the welcoming headbutts of the two cats every morning.

A sympathetic host and cosy location north of Arnhem and a great breakfast basket - delivered to the lodge doorstep. Not only during Covid times a smart and save escape from the daily hustle. Worthwhile the travel.

everything! The location is excellent, it is so quiet and the walks were great. It is a converted WW2 Aircraft Hangar which has been done with taste and an eye for detail.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this property, it has everything you need for a stay there.

What a beautiful stay! Rooms are located around a wartime airline hanger, all beautiful renovated and very comfortable. Fantastic location in the forest, only 15-20 minute bike ride to Arnhem (they have great ebikes for hire). Breakfast was AMAZING.

Very peaceful forest stay, very friendly staff and hosts. A lovely lodge with modern yet cosy finishings. Great breakfast delivered to the door. It was really nice to have a few lodges next to each other for other members of our family to stay too

The lodge was modern and to my exact taste. It was located right next to the forest in a way that you feel immersed in the woods. De Veluwe is just a short walk away! Breakfast was brought to the door by the sweetest lady and it was copious and delicious. Honestly, this place made me feel at peace, in all its quietude, authenticity and closeness to nature.

Amazing hosts! The hosts are very welcoming and helpful, they are the heart of this beautiful, lovely and very clean B&B. The breakfast was exceptional, with fresh fruits and served to the room. The room is very big, comes with its own terrasse and created with high love for detail. If there is one word to describe our experience, it would be peaceful. Will definitely come again!

The breakfast was abundant and delicious. Yoghurt and fruits, egg of one's choice, different breads and rolls, cheese, huge cups of coffee. Seconds available upon request. Breakfast room was comfy, intimate and yet sufficient space between tables.

Nice room, good bed and fantastic breakfast. Our studio had a private terrace so we could sit in the sun. Great location, we had a beautiful walk. Nice host!
