Not a single thing

From the staff to the room and including the location, the Ahyu Hotel is fantastic! It's located in a very normal-nice street 2 minutes walking from Masjid Jamek LRT station which is a rapid transit station in Kuala Lumpur, and it is only 2 stops to KL Sentral from/since you will take the Express to airport. The Hotel is very well maintained, is very modern and very charming. It exceed my expectations being a 2 stars hotel indeed. Staff is very professional and kind. Wifi was just perfect all the time (we stayed in 3 nights). The room was very clean, air conditioner worked perfectly, maybe too strong :D . The area is plenty of shops and restaurants with a very delicious food. It is located in city centre and if you like walking, it's perfect to discover the city, old town. It's only a 25minutes to Petrona's tower. We walked the distance from the hotel and was a very pleasant walk, as the city is very safe and clean and people very nice and kind. Bathroom, bed, were perfect and very clean. I would choose it again if I would come back to Kuala Lumpur.

Great location and easy to get to the metro station (4 min walk). Beds were comfortable and room had aircon. Staff were friendly and room was clean..

Room had a slightly odd smell from the bathroom, but tbh we found this everywhere in Malaysia. Security box was locked from previous stay.

Staff very friendly. They were rebuilding the building next door and it was noisy, the gentleman in the reception he changed our room. Location is very good, near everything

We booked for a 3-night stay between 4 days. We were away on the second day and they allowed us to leave our luggage in the hotel, which is a big convenience that we do not need to carry too many things with us on our journey.

We were not that lucky that the hotel elevator was in maintenance so we need to use the stairs (for 1 day only), but the staff is very friendly, he helped to carry our luggage upstairs.

The check-in was fast and very welcoming. I instantly felt safe. The location around the corner of a subway station was perfect for access to the subway system and to get to Sentral station for connecting to the airport. Though the bed took up almost all the room I found the interior comfortable. There were a fridge, hairdryer, tv and aircon. The bathroom was spacious in comparison and its walk-in shower was great. Chinatown with Petaling street is 5min walk away. There are plenty restaurants nearby.

A breakfast offer is missing

The staff was really friendly to help with the parking issue. The hotel lift was under maintenance when we arrive, but the staff helps us bring our luggage up. The room is reasonably clean and is not far from petaling street.

Room size was ok, but I really don't appreciate sleeping with leg pointing directly to the main door. The lift maintenance lasted till the next day, so we have to bring our luggage down with stairs.

Excellent budget hotel, clean with friendly staff.
