Great breakfast spread! The property is well furnished and the staff speak English.

The toilets did not have a wash-let.

Josh ,Justin and there Crew were so accommodating and friendly ! The lodge was clean warm comfortable and inviting ! Beds weee really comfortable!! Highly recommend !!

Love the cozy and warm atmosphere of the lodge. Close to the slops. Breakfast was amazing. All staff members were so friendly and helpful. Room was bright, super clean and spacious with towels provided. Bathroom was clean with nice communal hot bath. Good quality in house rentals. Free shuttle service was convenient; pickup and drop off on arrival and departure. Would definitely come back!

The house interior is very well designed and has a warm atmosphere, it feels like Christmas and makes you want to stay more. Everything is super clean and comfy.

The parking is a bit small. Somebody parked in front of my car and I couldn't leave. Fortunately the staff was quick to get it removed, but I can see this happening again. My room was nearby the living area so it might be a problem for some people because it's a bit noisy.

The owner is so friendly and helpful. He even gave me a lift to find a near by restaurant when we arrived late. accommodations is good, Clean and great value.

Stay was too short

The room was nice, the breakfast was delicious, the staff were wonderful and very friendly!

The mattresses were firm and the stairs were a bit steep. But no real complaints.

Everything was just fantastic, I stayed only for 1 night, arriving late, leaving early next day, but all ~8 hours of the stay was just excellent. The host - Justin and his team are very nice, attentive, even allowed to have a breakfast earlier than 'official'. The whole atmosphere in the lodge is just as at home, nice lounge, with a lot of homely stuff, a place outside of the lodge for 'small chat' or a cup of coffee is just wonderful (with a lot of 'creatures' from tales hanging around :). A small 'onsen' was a bonus, both in the evening and early morning. The host proposed to meet us at the station, and also drove me to the station early morning. Rooms are clear, nice, comfortable. Would definitely come back! :)

One should realize that the lodge is a bit outside of the main part of the town, if proximity to the town center is important. However, this might also be considered as advantage - it's a quite place, in the woods, overall I can confirm the place is just excellent!

Amazing people, really kind and attentive. Great breakfast. fans and air conditioning units in the room. small but useful communal bath, common areas with tables, cutlery, hot water, coffee and some instant food available.

It is a great place! It was my first time traveling alone and I really enjoyed my staying there. The owners are very nice, the welcoming is very warm. Would definitely recommend Penke Panke !!

Staff there were all friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and it was great to spend time with other guests in the lounge area, so as spending time alone in the room. Everything is clean and well equipped. Breakfast sandwich that staff made was great. Excellent place to stay and I’d love to stay again!
