the room was really lovely and comfortable, the owners picked us up from the bus stop as it was raining and gave us a little tour of galle which was lovely! It was such a nice experience we would definitely come again :)

The property is in a great location in Galle. Within walking distance of so many great cafes and restaurants. The owners were lovely and very friendly with great communication. The room was clean and had everything we needed.

Great hosts with excellent local knowledge. Helped us out when renting bikes and getting the best out of our stay in Galle.

A few hundred metres away from the Buddhist temple in the fort, this is a great location and easy for drivers to find. The aircon, wifi and shower all work perfectly and the couple running this place are lovely welcoming and helpful. Hard to imagine a better stay in Galle

Quirky little homestay in a lovely residential part of Galle. Very peaceful area. Clean basic rooms and friendly owners. Free tea and coffee available. Wish we had planned to stay another night. 😁

A nice room in a good location. AC, warm water, comfortable bed. The room is a bit tiny but clean and has everything one needs. Very nice and helpful host.

Great location nice shops and restaurants around. Stuff was really nice and kind, very helpful. Room is big, with small balcony. Hot water is also avalible in the toilet. Beedshits was clean!

I was offered a room on the uper floor, less noisy but on arrival I was put on the ground floor,the man gave me some vague reasons concerning cancellation and other bull stories, anyway it was only for one night, so no big fuss. ; the ground floor room could have been all right if the owner would not have spoken from 14hoo hours to 22h30 hours on her cell phone, on a sofa in front of the room. in the reception area. Otherwise she was very helpful, WC cover old and dirty, hotel noisy, I will not reccomend it.

Dr. Dileepa was welcoming from the first moment, she helped me check in, took me in a ride with her car to show me the main attractions, and when I was leaving she drove me with her car to the bus station (I was lucky in both cases because I was in her way) the place is super nice and cozy, I had the ground room, it was smooth. the location is amazing, in the heart of the old city of Galle, everything within a walking distance. perfect if you want to capture the essence of the city.

The ground floor room was close to the entrance, so it was noisy sometimes if people were talking or loud TV. but it isn’t that annoying, and usually during sleep time no one is there and no one is in the streets so it isn’t that much of a noise

Nice location in the center of the Fort of Galle. She gave us good advice how we could travel to our next location. she also gave us good advice and offered to drive us around to escape the rain.

In our opinion the room was not clean. There was also a flickering light in the hallway which was pretty annoying.

The pics on the site is not right . The balcony is hardly there. The owners are nice but they are not at the property. For a female solo traveller i felt it was lonely and dark. The room doors had creeky sound and other weird sounds so felt not safe and checked out in 2 hrs , headed towards Unatuwana hotel but paid full amount.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the owners lady & man was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this little villa for anyone visiting Galle fort Sri Lanka

The friendliest hosts we've met. Really went out of their way to sort things for us such as onward travel, promoting the cheapest options which was really genuine and friendly. We also had really interesting conversations in the evenings and advice on where to visit. The room is basic but great. Good WiFi and fast air conditioning! Such a central location in the fort as well, everything is on your doorstep.

Facilities are relatively basic but all you need and more than made up for by the location and generosity of the hosts.

Good location, easy walk to anywhere around Galle fort. Run by a lovely couple who were keen to help us enjoy our stay.

The owners of Fort Sapphire are amazing! They really made our stay incredible. The lady helped us get to the right bus by bringing us herself by car to the busstation.

The rooms are fine and in a perfect location, but it could be a little cleaner. But fine for backpackers ;)

It was really hot in the room but that's only because of the powercuts. When the a/c worked it was fine :-)
