I stayed for 2 nights with a group of friends from grad school. We were on and off the beach all day (it’s literally across the street!), enjoyed grilling and roasting s’mores in the backyard, and hanging out with music over the speaker system at night. And the sunset views were stunning! I’d love to be back again

My team from work (friends/coworkers) and I loved everything about this home. We were able to enjoy the hot tub each night and also walk to the beach.

We very much enjoyed the trip! The house had everything you could ever need, plus more. Location was perfect- short walk to the beach. The outdoor areas were very enjoyable- hot tub, fire pit, multiple balconies, screen porch and outdoor eating. Beds were clean with an abundance of extra pillows, sheets and blankets. Kid toys and books in the bunk room were a total hit! Kitchen was very well stocked with all the gadgets! Will book again for next year!

This is an excellent home with a great location. Two minute walk to the beach views of the water from the top two levels. Home is outfitted with plenty of cooking utensils, Dishes etc. Management company was very responsive to the several requests that we had.

This house was perfect for our family getaway! We had a great time. There was plenty of room for the eight of us (all adults). The location is great! The beach is practically in the backyard and only a 20 minute walk to the downtown. I highly recommend!

We stayed here for a winter festival. It was a little bit of a walk for winter to everything but we bundled up and made the best of it! Loved the home and all that came with it.

Loved our stay here. The house was super clean and charming. Very close to the beach and also a nice walk to town. The layout worked out for us perfectly. Our 16 year old daughter and 2 friends were able to hang out on the third floor with it's family room/bedroom/bath while the adults enjoyed the main part of the house. Would definately return.

Great location and place. Very clean. straightforward rules and expectations. Most communication is done online But we did ask them if we could come early and they got back with us the day of. Only complaint that we had, (and maybe due to sought-after location/place) but for the price, It was less than a 2 day rental.

We really enjoyed our stay for the weekend! It was in October so it was a bit chilly, but still a lot of fun! The view from the house is amazing. It was also extremely clean which we appreciated a lot!

We spent a wonderful week in this beautiful and well appointed home.It is tastefullydecorated making for a warm and serene environment.All rooms are equally nice with wonderful bedding and numerous bath towels. The set up of the home made vacation living easy for our two families(one with two toddlers and the other with two teens.)3rd floor was great with king master with bath and then bunk room and central family room. 2nd floor has three bedrooms and two full baths and laundry room.All so spacious and well decorated.Barely can hear each other. Enjoyed the privacy of all three decks. Sunsets enjoyed on two.Back yard is a very short walk to the beach which made it easy to run back and forth throughout the day. The back yard itself has a beautiful patio table with seating for at least eight as well as a propane barbecue, fire pit and clean hot tub.The outdoor space was just an extension of the living space of the pretty screened-in porch next to the kitchen.The kitchen held numerous pots, utensils, plates, cups and silverware which made eating and cooking a breeze. Location of the house is truly ideal. It is perfect for walking/running to the pier as well as into town and the beach. The marina is close by and so is the dock for the boat rides. Parking in the driveway for two cars was a terrific bonus. You can obtain a parking permit for lots nearby if you have more car.Owners provided 6 chairs as well as corn hole set (we had brought our own).Thankfully we brought a wagon, umbrella and beach shells which made hauling all beach stuff easier and shade possible. Management was very responsive, friendly and effective. They sent many informative emails and answered questions before the trip. They even called on the day of check-in to alert us to the fact that there were Wi-Fi issues. They made every effort to resolve the problem before we arrived and when they couldn’t fix things themselves, then the owner and management worked together to have a Spectrum team there by 8 the next morning. A management representative attended so that we didn’t have to alter our plans and the issue was fixed by mid-day. This is a wonderful location for a family beach trip. We would have explored the city more and eaten out more often if we had not had toddlers with us. The city has more shopping, dining and drinking options than expected. It is such a walkable town but bikes, kayaks, paddle boards can be easily rented.This was a remarkable experience.Water is gorgeous!

The house was perfectly located near the beach, beautiful, clean and had an abundance of amenities. We had a wide age range of family staying at the house from great grandparents to toddlers, and it was the perfect fit for all of us. We enjoyed everything the house had to offer from beautiful sunsets to roasting s'mores at the fire pit to spending time together on the back porch to reading all the kids books at the house. We loved our time at The Hideout!

We had a group of girls getaway and this house was the perfect setting! The home itself is adorable and clean, the layout is great for just relaxing either inside or outside. The location to the beach and into town is perfect! We would absolutely rent again!

I loved loved loved this property! The location was great! We came at a perfect time there wasn’t anyone else in the neighborhood. The beach is literally steps away. No issues with any of the amentities. Only downfall is the bunk bedroom. It’s literally only for small children and I had all adults with me the ceiling is at a slant so it’s hard for adult size ppl to sleep in it but that was okay! We genuinely enjoyed our stay!

Had little issue with cable, tvs,surround sound, and door lock for deck , but regardless just gave us more FAMILY/FRIENDS time!!!

We booked last minute for a trip from Chicago to get out of the city and all its nonsense. The property did not disappoint. It was a very cold and snowy weekend and watching the changes in Lake Michigan and the beach was mesmerizing. Loved the hot tub and fireplace. Great weekend getaway.

We loved our stay here! The house was very clean and worked great for our family. It's a good location for walking on the beach and walking to town. We had no issues and our few requests were handled quickly.

Even though we were here in the fall, we still loved the location and close proximity to the beach. We walked to the playground and swings and we’re only a minute walk back to the house. The sunroom and hot tub were very nice to enjoy the outdoors. The upstairs living area was wonderful for the kids to play. Overall this house worked great for 3 different families.
