Die netten Vermieter und die Sauberkeit der Wohnung. Wir haben direkt bei der Ankunft ein Getränk angeboten bekommen. Aber vor allem die zwei Hunde!

The rural grounds and country house are a shock being so close to Nîmes. You feel a little special getting to be inside those magnificent stone walls. There's comfortable space to hang outdoors, including the pool. Would definitely stay there again.

Finding the house was very frustrating. A neighbor had to escort us there. The road names weren't exactly as on Google Maps. A detailed hand-drawn map would do the trick. The room was heavily scented with air "freshener." Some of us are highly sensitive and get headaches and congestion (and lose a night's sleep). Hosts, please take note.

Distance from center of the city

The property is very clean, well resourced, eg excellent fridge freezer, ceramic hobs and separate cooker. Plus plenty of crockery and cutlery. Outdoors variety of sitting areas, in really lovely grounds. Car parking is very secure and plentiful. Hosts on sight and very helpful and accommodating. Close to Nimes centre. We were happy to walk in leaving car in good stretch of parking about 5 mins downhill from accommodation. Then 15 min walk into town, but not on the flat. Aigues Mortes definitely worth the drive, lovely unexpected pretty town to visit; recommended by hosts.

Care needs to be taken driving last stretch up to house, as road quite twisted and very narrow in parts. Just needs little extra care and concentration.

Wifi wasn’t work but not their fault

Beautifully restored and very well-equipped, but very very small, conversion ( not sure what building originally was ) Bathroom particularly nice. Handy for visiting Nimes, Pont du Gard, etc

Location hard to find in very odd large area of apparent wasteland outside Nimes, with lots of huge houses. All of which ( including this one ) had high walls, security gates and (mostly) CCTV, all of which made one wonder what the problem was with the area ! Description talked about "all units have free wifi and cooking facilities"...but this seemed to be the only unit ?! The wifi never worked ( but that is a modern day complaint, 20 years ago it wouldn't have been relevant ) and the kitchen was oddly equipped ( e.g. 6 drinking glasses, 3 wine glasses, but only 1 cereal bowl....for a property sleeping 2 )

Small apartment for hotel room money! Everything was new and the owners were really nice and went out of their way to help even though they spoke no English. Perfect spot for a small getaway.

It’s a bit out the way. It says 4km’s but it’s lots of small roads out the way. Perfect for some quiet time but if your wanting to out into Nîmes probably too far. The double bed is a sofa bed so not massively comfy.
