We have stayed at another home in Frangista a few years ago and we almost didn’t rent this house because our first experience was a dirty house and that was not being maintained. This house was a wonderful experience for our family reunion group of infants to grandparents! The house was clean and the manager even checked on us several times to make sure all was well. I casually mentioned that our bathroom plug wasn’t working and the shower light would work randomly. The manager immediately responded with the time frame the electrician would be over. He fixed it quickly. Also since it was the 4th of July holiday week the manager sent fireworks schedules for the surrounding areas. Watching the fireworks on the 4th, on the beach just steps from our private entrance was just perfect. The Emerald Coast is magical on a regular day but the 4th of July celebrations made us all appreciate the efforts made by all those who put on the best shows! We would return to this particular home again. It was perfect for our group.

Frangista Encore was exactly as shown on website. Very comfortable and perfect for our family of 10. It was great for everyone to have their own bedroom and bathroom. The splash pool was great, short walk to beach out the back porch, and overall home layout with great kitchen and living area for everyone to be together without feeling cramped!! Would highly recommend this property and plan to book again next year! The use of the elevator was greatly appreciated as my husband needed it! Just returned from a weeks stay. The location is perfect! The house needs lots of maintenance and upkeep. Doors are pealing apart and dirty and floors are worn, All of the furniture could use replacing. The beds are very uncomfortable. There are stains on the chairs. This house had/has so much potential with some attention and upkeep. Overall the trip was good, we just expected the property to look like the pictures.

It was drab and did not feel like we were at the beach when we were inside, except for the master suite. The cleanliness was also below our expectations. The staff was professional and responsive. All of my concerns or maintenance issues were addressed promptly. This property is as advertised and it definitely has a million dollar view. I do think it could use some updating inside and out. Frangista Encore is a perfect place for making memories. Our family was able to gather on the balconies, and in common areas for together time. Sleeping was comfortable with private bathrooms for each bedroom. The house was fully equipped and everything was in working order. The best part is the perfect location on the beach, with the surf asyour neighbor. It is walkable distance to restaurants, a coffee shop, a winery, ice cream, beach shops etc. The house is perfect for reunions and celebrations.

We did make the mistake of going during spring break where they were lots of college kids. Beaches were super crowded and the crowds were a little more rowdy than I would’ve liked. At times at night you could hear loud screaming and music. The house did have a leak and needed a good deep clean. The community pool was not warm at all. That was disappointing. We did pay extra to have the pool at the house heated. I would say it’s more like a large hot tub than a pool. It was very warm and enjoyable.

Everything was very nice. It worked well for our family with the layout of the house. The heater in the community pool was broken when we arrived but was fixed by day 4. That is a big draw for our family at this time of year. Thanks for getting it fixed.

Beautiful home on the most gorgeous beach
The home was very roomy with 4 king size beds and each of the three floors had a large outdoor balcony that spanned the width of the home facing the beach. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes, Pots and pans and small appliances which makes cooking in for the family very convenient. I would recommend staying in this home.

I was a bit worried the family room on the main level would be too small to accommodate us all but the size exceeded my expectations.The home is in need of some major work- exterior and interior painting; new steps leading to the beach; a DEEP clean; and some new or repaired accent furniture. For the high price we paid, sometimes the little things (new or clean door mats; new blender- it smelled as if it was going to burn out; more kitchen towels for example) would make a big impression and difference.The management staff is extremely responsive and went out their way to accommodate us the day we arrived. They also responded to our few inquiries within minutes!!The beach and ocean were amazing and feet from the house. It was so very convenient and simple enough to even run back to the house just to grab a bottle of water.We did try to go out to dinner to Pompano Joes arriving at 5:00 pm and there was already a 2 hour wait so beware of this if you go.The only suggestion we would have is for the company that sets up the umbrellas is to stagger them a bit as it was very difficult to walk in- between them as they were in a straight row literally touching your neighbors.All in all we had a perfect week including weather!

We were over all satisfied with the Encore but felt that it needs some TLC considering the price that we paid for this rental. For the sake of reference, we have stayed in 8 rental properties in the Destin area over the last 13 years. All of the issues with the house were minor such as the bunk bed screws were loose, doors to outside balconies would not stay closed, broken arm chair in dining room, kitchen faucet was loose/broken and hard to turn on/off, gate to beach stairs latch was broken, master bath shower did not drain properly, broken light switch in bunk room, mold on shower's grout, large window in kitchen leaked when it rained, outside stairs to beach need repair and the house was not very clean when we arrived (found trash, sand and clothing under beds). On the positive side this house has an exceptional floor plan with each bedroom having it's own bath and the location is great. The views from this house were stunning. All and all we had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed our stay at the Encore.

After a forced reschedule due to covid, our group of 10 adults could not wait to experience the Encore…and we were not disappointed! This spacious, well appointed house had everything we needed; fully stocked kitchen, 2 smaller fridges (one in kitchen, 2nd on lower level next to ice maker behind closet doors), beach /pool towels, washer/dryer, and comfortable furnishings inside and out. We saw dolphins swimming in the crystal clear waters a few times from the main floor deck. Private beach access and chair/umbrella service are invaluable, and contribute to the laid back relaxing vibe. Oh, and Dairy Queen is a 4 minute walk from the house on those nights your sweet tooth is calling. Knowing that Hector at Frangista Beach Properties is a call away in case an issue arises seals the deal. Can’t wait to return!

We have been vacationing in this area for seven years and never found a place we would really like to rebook until now. Frangista Encore has great service, very clean home, and the beach was remarkable! We most definitely will be back to this home.
