Location was great. Easy access to beach, Owner worked with us and answered questions timely. If you plan to stay here you will want to bring extra blankets. There was only one extra blanket but 2 women who freeze.
I would try and find out prior to booking if there are any planned events at the beach. Sadly this was our kids Prom and we were unable to access the beach due to a Swingers convention going on the entire weekend. It was very disapointing! The whole scene was very dusturbing! Drugs-nudity-vulgerness.

Overall the house was absolutely beautiful, very clean, and supplied with everything you need. We had a slight issue with the noise from the neighbors, but the property manager was quick to respond. Quick walk to the beach which was nice!

Great view. Lots of bedrooms with private bathrooms, which made it really nice for us for gal pals who are all over 55. Kitchen was very spacious, overall had a fantastic time. No need to bring bags of ice, since there is a functioning ice machine, which was nice.

Great time spent with friends and family before a first wedding. We had a catered brunch scheduled for another house in Holiday Beach, but when we entered the main room, our immediate reaction was....."this is perfect". The chef agreed when he came Saturday morning. We were able to get sun on the front porch and even had a pinata hanging from the upstairs' railing that exploded on the grass below.
We all really enjoyed our stay. Wish we could have been there longer.

Nice ocean view from the deck. It was really easy to reach to the shore and we enjoyed walking along the beach. Nice air, quiet, peaceful atmosphere to relax during the visiting.
It was a little tricky to unlock the front door when we checked in and the upper patio door locks were quiet challenging to handle at first but we got better.
We stayed pretty comfortably. The thermostat worked well. It was convenient to have the washer and dryer. The best part is that we were allowed to bring our pets! The vacation wouldn’t t be the same, or possible, if we were worrying about them.
There were some areas for maintenance: the shower water heads didn’t seem to be connected properly- so the water ran out of the fitting and didn't have a lot of pressure. The garbage disposal seemed to have some issues, and smelled from buildup. The kitchen faucet head seemed to be old and not expand smoothly. Some different sizes and materials of bowls and plates would be nice- they were mostly plastic.

We had such a wonderful time at the surfing mermaid. It’s a wonderful property with lots of room, beautiful Gulfview and access to the beach. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for seven friends to get together and share some laughter, relaxation, food and fun

We loved the location and had plenty of space for our two families. We loved the large decks, beautiful view and large kitchen table. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the house and text the owner when we got there with the number provided and she never responded. The whole house was dusty. We found hair and dead bugs in showers, window sills, sinks, etc. there were crumbs and dust in the kitchen drawers and we had to clean utensils and plates before using. The comforter and shams were very dirty and had something crusty on them. So we had to remove them off the bed and use our own blanket that we thankfully brought. We ended up washing all of our sheets before sleeping because we couldn’t be certain they were actually clean. The couch cushions were stained and dirty. Its too bad because it put a damper on the weekend feeling like we had to clean just to enjoy the house.

My one recommendation would be to replace the key lock box. We had trouble checking in and checking out with it.

Beautiful home with an awesome view. Great for our family get together. It was nice having 3 private bedrooms for each couple and a forth BR with bunk beds. Second row on the beach but no cabins directly in front so like having a front row view of theocean. Plenty of room upstairs and downstairs. All the amenities you could want.

Great space great location but not great furniture
House was spacious and great location. It would’ve been a great experience if patio furniture was not used inside for living room furniture and chairs were too short at dining table. With these updates I would give this house an excellent review and maybe the smell would be gone if new furniture was added

The location is perfect. The kitchen needs better and more cookware and organization. The upstairs bedrooms sheets don’t stay on the bed because of the mattress protector. This makes for an annoying nights sleep. The family room furniture cushions need cleaning or replacing. The family room tv streaming outlets are stripped and need replacing.
