4 bed dormitories have good AC and a TV. The room had lockers, which I ended up needing… (read on)
Despite the nice facilities, when I arrived there were 5 locals (not actually staying in the dorms) in the small 4 bed dorm drinking alcohol, and eating meals on the beds watching the TV on loud. They remained there for most of the day until about 7pm. This made me feel unsafe about leaving my luggage containing my laptop/cash/documents when I left to explore the city. Additionally, I could not rest as they continually tried to talk to me, which I realise was friendly on their side, but from my perspective I was sober and extremely tired from my flights and needed space.

The staff were the best I have encountered so far in the Philippines. The food in the cafe was also amazing. Room was a good size I would recommend
The location isn't for everyone but restaurants and bars are close to walk to but also plenty of transport around. Only real issue was the address they sent me was a few streets away

It’s very close to the airport and staff were very friendly.
Shower pressure was so low so we couldn’t even use the shower. Had to use the bucket with cold water. The AC was so loud and very hard to sleep with. A lot of small bugs. Few of us got bitten while sleeping.

Good price for an overnight sleep. The staff are amazing. There's a netflix connection.
Didn't realize the location is actually not close to the airport and it's hard to find. The bed is almost giving up and theres a stinky smell in the room..oh I also found a cockroch in the bathroom but of course it was a budget room so we get what we paid for🤪

The price is very affordable and the room was clean and complete with amenities. The staff were courteous and accomodating. The owner provided friendly information about the place.

Please avoid this property for your safety. At 12:40 at night, I got a knock on my door, I opened the door, it was a reception girl, she said Sorry, I closed the door. In ten seconds, I get another knock, but I did not open the door, I looked in the window and see an old drunk man and the receptionist with her other friend a 15 meters away. I started to scream “Go Away” and knock on the window. They left, but I was horrified and couldn’t fall asleep anymore because I my 3 years old daughter was with me.

The property was clean and there was a coffee shop attached. We arrived at 6am in the morning and the staff ensured we could check in and catch up on some rest. The food in the cafe was really tasty.
The property is located off the main road in Mactan, the area is not Cebu City - which is where we thought we were staying - our error. There were cockerels making noise in the early hours. There was also a cat under a small laundry basket for about a day which was concerning.

The FREE breakfast is superb! Transport service (PAID) is also available upon request but rate is cheaper
We opted to stay in the second floor, and the way up there is quite challenging. It is important to note that the accommodation place is a bit far back from the front desk, so if your travelling with luggage/heavy bags its a bit challenging.

The breakfast was the best. The staff the best everything was the best .to feel the love & care of true Philippines culture & the people you have to be with the people. & the people I stayed with there felt like family welcoming & caring. ☆☆☆☆☆ ❤

Low price but a slight added charge.. the staff handling guests was attentive to my needs..although there are only a handful.of guests . Breakfast was great, you would feel full. At it arrives on time.
Location is not great, . like you were in Tondo .The street was flooded in one area and you only ride in a padyak (bicycle -carriage).. The taxi i rode couldnt find the place, dark at night. The City Jail was nearby.. You would be scared of your safety.
The aircon had a remote.. i mean it takes some effort to open and close it.. Remote like high up the wall!

I rate 7 because the accommodation was good. The room was clean and it has a good wifi. My employees enjoyed their stay.
For some odd reason I received a call from "OYO" Barrio House, he was foreign, told me the 2 rooms I booked is good for 1 person each. I explained to him that when I booked online I was searching for 4 persons and booking.com gave me 2 rooms of the hotel. But he insisted that the room capacity is 2 but it's only good for 1person. And if it's a couple then they would allow. How confusing is that, right????

At the cafe I could ask breakfast or drinks as I like, things that were non in the menu.
