We were so extremely happy with our stay at this property! It was spotless clean upon arrival. The kitchen was way more equipped than we anticipated!!! There were so many places to hang out between the screened in porch, deck, and hot tub area. We loved the in-law suite couch and TV and we hung out there regularly as a family. Overall we were thrilled with this property and will return to it for sure!!! Loved it so much!!!

Very Clean and Convenient
Our family stayed for one week in late June and we were absolutely thrilled with the house. The housekeepers did a phenomenal job at prepping the home for our arrival. Check in and out was seamless and Carolina Shores' staff is amazing. Definitely will stay here again!

All but the king mattress was hard, and the house smelled like urine, couldn’t get rid of the smell, would have liked to put a/c down some or maybe some fans, but over all not too bad.

Great property overall. A few small issues with a few items. Hot tub only one jet worked. Would have enjoyed access to downstairs via inside the property but not a deal breaker. Great location! Easy shopping, activities, dining and of course the beach.

Our vacation rental experience was great, the house was modern and up to date, there were those pesky ants, but we've never stayed at a place without them at the OBX. The kids loved the In-Law suite down stairs, they thought they were Kings and Queens for the week. The washer and dryer made it a bonus after we went horseback riding. We all made new discoveries this year as in the prior years, that's why we keep coming back to this Beautiful place!??

Very clean, well equipped with everything you need and more. You can tell that the owners spend time at this house. The decorations were adorable and a lot of love has been put into the details. The house was in a good location, well stocked, very comfortable beds and sofas. The dog ties were very nice.If our kids were younger they would have loved the play area. It was clean and we had no damp smell in the basement that other noticed. But.. I would have the cleaning company check the hot tub area. We found beer bottle tops, cigarette butts, and icy wrappers all over. Plus it would be nice if someone hosed down the spider webs which were huge and all over the shower and hot tub. Not a big deal but something that would only take a minute and make a much nicer impression. We would rent again.

Location...Location...Location!!!! The house was perfect in every aspect!The house is located in the perfect spot to enjoy everything the Outer Banks has to offer!! The decor was beautifully fitting for the beach scene. The proximity of the beach access was great. Having the mother-in-law suite worked out perfect for our family! The hot tub was used on a regular basis! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for cooking, serving and eating. No other words can describe except PERFECT! Thank you for the opportunity to explore the Outer Banks!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Coast is Clear! There were only a few minor issues. The basement was damp and musty smelling but we lit candles to help with the smell. The hot tub was not heating during our stay. And, the uncut grass along the driveway was long and contained "pricklies" making it difficult to play basketball. The prickly things stuck to the ball and our shoes.

The location of the property was really nice if you can't afford ocean front but the unpkeep and cleanliness of the house and grounds was very poor. I was grossed out on the bedding and floors, I had to clean and bleach bathrooms and buy blankets for the beds because I only brought sheets, the mattress and furnatue was horrible. The upstairs smelled of urine and the downstairs was very damp. It would have been nice rental if kept in beter repair and cleniness.

This property was smaller than we expected, but our group was smaller than we'd initially planned, so the house was really perfect. Very clean, comfortable. An easy walk to the beach, convenient location near the Wright Memorial. My biggest suggestion to the owners/management company would be to put a dehumidifier in the basement. While it is clean, I would have been disappointed if any of us had needed to sleep down there as the furnishings are all actually damp to the touch. We didn't need for anyone to stay down there, so the only reason we used the basement was for laundry. All told, great rental!
