The staff was very helpful and tried to make us comfortable from the very beginning. The choice of the food for breakfast and dinner was quite good. The rooms were spacious and clean.

We have booked a double bed, but we ended sleeping on 2 single beds joined together. The matrasses were very uncomfortable. The SPA was not as expected, sauna and steam bath were fine, but the pool in the hotel was cold. The other option you have, is to go to Dobrudja hotel pool (which is quite good), going through the "warm" connections between the hotels, but the 5 minutes passage is very cold and you are passing through a hospital!

The hotel needs some "general refresh", some things are deteriorated because they are pretty old... Needs at least a "face lift"! Parking price, is a little bit expensive (but was not a very big issue and I think this is the same for all Albena... so not a hotel problem) Only one romanian TV Channel was available (even there were 3 channels shown in the list). Also not a big issue, but might be better

Spacious and luxurious rooms, great food, room service and spa center. The sea view from the balcony is awesome. The garden with the hotel pools is very beautiful too. Lots of interesting places to visit nearby ( cape Kaliakra for example ) and the beach at Albena is one of the best on the Black Sea coast. I highly recommend this hotel.

The room was awesome. We had everything we needed for a cozy holiday. I think it's worth mentioning: the room size, the hotel offered an extra bed for our little daughter (besides the extra couch we had), 2 bathrooms, balcony, kid activities within the hotel resort, pool area is awesome, the resort market, the hotel location.

The coffee at breakfast from the coffee machines could be better, too few coffee machines. Sometimes it took a little bit too long for stuff to bring drinks when having lunch or dinner. But overall the experience was great.

All about Flamingo Grand Hotel and Albena Resort is memorable. The people, the facilities, the food. They really know about sustainable processes and circular economy.

Excellent breakfast and dinner. A large swimming pool right next to the hotel. A nice beach with sunbeds and umbrellas included in the hotel price.

They have a nice manager, but nothing else considering they want to be a 5 star hotel. But if you go there - you will see an old panel that says “Flamingo Hotel” and 4 stars on it.

We got there and the room didn’t look that good. It’s dusty and old. I had a shock when I lifted the toilet seat and it was wet. I thought “Ok, maybe they cleaned it recently and they didn’t dry it”. Here it’s were it gets horrible. I took some toilet paper to dry to toilet seat and that made be notice a small brown stain, I scrub a bit at it and it cleaned it off. And I was horrified so I decided to just wipe the whole toilet. The toilet paper I used to clean the toilet was yellow at the end. Absolutely disgusting. I tried to forget to toilet event to try to enjoy the weekend - but the bathtub was leaking from underneath when using it. Like a stream of water would just flow to the drainage. The knob to lift up the bathtub stopper was broken, was left to hang there and when we touched it we noticed the plastic was broken. It was left there to just look nice. There was some sort of kitchenette inside the room and the wood around the sink was moldy. But I’ll stop with all the little details cause there are many. When we returned the towels, we were supposed to be given two cards for reception to represent each beach towel. The guy with the towels was able to find only one card. The girl at the reception, Yana, was accusatory, gave us a look, lifted the card and said “Where is the second card?”. and we tried to explain her the best that it wasn’t returned to us. When she finally understands she laughs it off. I was not laughing. I’m trying to check out, and you look at me like I’m stealing you towel at a 5 star hotel. She goes in the back, talks with someone, comes back and tells us “It’s all ok with the towel, we don’t have problems”. There was no other way, never existed any issues from our side. I did not run with your towel, your employees are just very bad. The one that annoyed me the most at the end. I was nice and wanted to not say anything not even here and just not come back to this hotel. But dear oh dear. The checkout is at 12 o’clock.

they keep too tight shedule on the beach beds and the umbrellas, a guy asked us to leave in the middle of the day because that was the time we were supposed to vacate the room

I liked the location and the facilities, also the staff was ok most of them.

What I did not liked at all from the staff, was the hotel manager who it seems it does not agree to have customers with disabilities in the hotel. Maybe due to this thing, the bed linen was not changed at all during the hollyday and the same hotel manager also asked for more money for the 5 days resort, even if it was paid integral 6 months before the arrival.
