Great location, 10 minutes walk from Darling Harbour and central enough to get to some iconic attractions on foot. The room was nice and clean and we enjoyed the indoor pool.

Staff were average.

Our room was not ready. We were told it would be ready 3 different times, we took three attempts at the counter having to line up each time and waited well past the 2pm check in to actually get into our room. Last thing you want when you have travelled to get there. Very disappointing start to our stay.

Pool:Emergency phone didn’t work in the pool. I then went to the gym to call reception as the phone worked and had a selection but no one answered on any line. I called from my mobile because there was no towels and I couldn’t get my child out of the pool. 10 min later she brought the towels, but I was horrified explaining what if it was an emergency? As it was I had to leave my young child to try the gym phone. Room: Toilet paper roll flies off every time you use it. Huge door/tiny bathroom hard to navigate No in room dining after 10pm. All day menu comes from a pub, we went down to look at it and it was busy with drunk ppl and stunk! Not the place to take your kid! Reception: Waited over 1/2 to check in because the line was to the breakfast restaurant and only 1 person checked ppl in at a time. The ppl had to put their own luggage behind the desks as well. Breakfast Restaurant: breakfast Restaurant staff did really well because they were 4ppl down, but this meant a long wait time to get in, lack of food etc was terrible. Food selection and quality awful. Poached egg I waited for was hard boiled almost. I can’t say I’d recommend this hotel at the price of $330 Oh and it’s so weird, conditioner for your hair is on request? So you get out dripping wet to call and wait! Only shampoo and body wash supplied. Also no water in the room?! Normally 1 comp per room at other hotels

The design of the room is very modern and functional. Lots of space to hang towels and clothes. Also lots of counter top space.

The mattress and pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. The worse was the noise from the road. The entire night I could here the roar of cars and sirens very loudly. There does not seem to be any sound insulation at the windows.

The room was modern and spacious, super comfotable. The bathroom was beautiful and spacious. The aircon worked fantastically, the smart TV was very convienent to link to netfilx and worked really well as did the wifi. The staff were warm and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was also really good and fresh.

There were dirty towels left in the bathroom when I checked in, as well as lots of sequins throughout the carpet that I kept noticing. I called reception about the dirty towels but no one came to collect them. The pool was closed and the only alternative was a public one ~10 minute walk away that had much more restrictive hours, was really dissapointed as it was a key reason I picked this particular hotel over others - wish they had let me know prior to checking in, I only found out as there was a stack of papers on the reception desk when checking in saying it was closed. The panel that controls the aricon was insanely bright and kept me up, I had to cover it with clothing to sleep.
