Location was great, as were the staff. They couldn't be more helpful. Bed was also comfortable. Rooms were nice and clean, spacious. We were lucky enough to be able to watch the Show fireworks from the balcony.
There was only 1 lift operational and it could take 10+ mins from when you pressed the button to when it arrived to collect you. It also would go up and down before letting you out on your floor. Was a little frustrating.

Newly renovated, very modern, stylish and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Room service option was a bonus and the menu looked great.

The location of this motel was excellent - dead centre of everything. It was a bonus to have a restaurant within the building. Staff at reception were lovely & helpful. Car park catered for a Chev ute which was good. Seems silly, but the milk was a decent size - not those stupid little pods which one never seems to get enough of.
Only 1 lift was working. As you got out of the lift on the floor it looked like a construction zone (safe but not completed). Car parking was not secure.

No breakfast bed v firm starf put us in room not as described wanted to change us 50 dollars more than quoted after a quirie and them finding invioce that they fixed both problems new room and moneys adjusted all ok

Liked the location and the cafes and restaurants that are close by. The room was clean and nice. But could not find much more, maybe a little bit unorganised?
Why would they take a security deposit and then take 5 to 10 business days to give it back? They don't tell you and you are paying all that when checking in. If you are leaving a deposit, they should do that in the EFTPOS system and not process it just like a normal charge.

Cheap.
Took over 2 weeks for security deposit to finally be refunded back to my card. Bathroom did not match the pictures at all - very small and outdated, not renovated. Car parking is not undercover.

The bathroom had been recently renovated with nice fixtures.
Room was large and met all needs.
A good variety of bathroom products were provided.
Bed was large but a little uncomfortable (a lot of springs could be felt).
A lot of external noise and movement upstairs seemed amplified.
Elevators were quite smelly and the hotel could use a bit of updates in main halls/communal areas.
Signage says Rydges, so I was a bit confused if I was in the right place!

Early maintenance work being performed early in the morning. lots of banging and very noisy.

Gladstone is Definitely not a destination but a Great stop over place. Love the twin beds in all the rooms and the newly renovated bathrooms on level 2.
